Aerosmith’s single “What Could Have Been”, a straight-up power ballad, is the latest single from ex- American Idol judge, Steven Tyler and his band’s upcoming album, Music From Another Dimension, due out November 6.

    Here is a link to the song OH Yeah off this album.  This is the song Lauren did background vocals for.  It is a really great rock song one of the best I have heard in years.  I am sure it is a cool thing for Lauren to have done it.

    I really like this song! I may be young, but I’ve been an Aerosmith fan for as long as I remember. This is the kind of song that’s perfect for them on the radio, and I’ve heard a few good spins in my area, so I think it’s safe to assume it’s some sort of hit for them. On a side note, totally expecting “Can’t Stop Loving You” to light up HAC and maybe even Country charts.

    Power ballad?  Aren’t they a rock band?  This seems like another stab at “Don’t wanna miss a thing.”  Steven’s voice though sounds very strong, as strong as it’s always been, and the playing is good, but they have a tendency to go a little “Sappy” which I don’t think they should do.  Stick with the rock and roll.  This sounds a little like a bunch of guys selling out to make some money.
