I’m not sure we care anymore now that Steven Tyler is off the American Idol judges’ panel, but what the heck.

Steven’s band, Aerosmith, has released another song off of their forthcoming album,  Music From Another Dimension titled “Lover Alot.”

It’s straight ahead rock n’ roll. No frills except for the scorching Joe Perry solo in the middle. Not bad.

Looks like they are going for a multiple release approach with Love Her A Lot impacting Rock 8/27  & the song  What Could Have Been Love impacting HAC 8/27, Top40 8/28,

Listening to this song with my Grandson and he loves it a lot!

Eh, totally indifferent to it except for the refrain which I find completely annoying. I actually thought the stream was stuck in the beginning b/c of the overdone repetition. That alone made me want to turn off the song immediately.

Other than the refrain which I greatly dislike, the rest is even just so-so to me.

I’m trying to think if there has been an Aerosmith song I’ve actually liked well enough since Janie’s Got a Gun? (and they were one of my fave bands in the 70′s)

Steven’s voice doesn’t have the same power, emotion and range it once had. As a long time fan, I am disappointed in this single. But I will still grab the album when it comes out.

    Not digging this….:/

Too much repetition in the lyrics. Steven’s range seems to have diminished also.
But hey, you can’t hit the glory notes forever right?
    Just okay for me.

I really like it !!! Sounds like old Aerosmith, which I love.  I think it sounds like it might be a demo, because the mix seemed off a bit, but I like it a lot more than their first single.

It´s very youthful, but not one of my favorites. I prefer his songs like “dream on”
