The Voice coach, Adam Levine, may have a new TV gig–a part in Ryan Murphy’s FX show, American Horror Story:
EW can exclusively reveal that Levine is in final negotiations to appear in season 2 of FX’s hit thriller American Horror Story. In his television acting debut, Levine will be playing a contemporary character and half of a couple called “The Lovers.” AHS producers are so fond of Levine that they are shooting around his summer touring schedule.
In case you aren’t aware, American Horror Story is a creepy gothic tale created by the folks who brought us Glee. The show, which airs on FX, features lots of ghoasties and tons of gore. I would expect Adam’s character to meet a grisly death by the end of the season.
The other thing–Murphy will feature a new ghosting every season, which means that main characters either leave the show at the end of the story cycle, or come back as different characters. I watched a little bit of season 1, until it’s icky violence became a bit much for me.
Jessica Lange is one of the stars coming back for season 2. She’s just terrific.
