Oh well – I guess I could record the VH1 channel for 4 hours just to see it – yeah I think I will do that.

If you set it for about 70minutes, you’ll get Adam’s vid twice!! I’m pretty familiar with MTV’s premiere sched for MVs….so VH1 isn’t any different (usually). @ 5:59am, 6:59am, 7:59am, 8:59am his video will probably show up & that’s if it’s noted as a “premiere” and not just putting it into a rotation/line-up.
I’m stoked!!! Should be awesome. And YAY 4 radio play, I don’t follow #s closely, so I’m glad it’s doing better than I thought!

re:Update, ooh now I should search back for the Wild Horses impression he did of SuBo on a Sirius radio i/view. I’m sure they have mutual admiration for each other. & a commonality –> cray-cray fans!!! No offense, I’m one of ‘em. For Adam at least…

Luv, I am so sorry to hear of your grandfather’s passing. One of my students lost her grandfather yesterday, and I will include you in my thoughts when she comes to me for a hug this week. Don’t hesitate to ask for hugs while you are coming to grips with your loss; human touch does help.

And Hoppers Skippers Miners, welcome! I have missed you. Thought of you in the thread a little while ago while people were drinking wine in the shallow end, wondering if you would show up with your glorious carpet bag from the end of the idol tour!

I live on the east coast and watched the Fuse interview. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. On the positive side, Adam seemed very relaxed and comfortable throughout the interview. Kudos to the interviewer for making him feel that way! I also loved how they played the total FYE music video at the beginning and parts of it during the interview.

On the down side…….. It seemed that 25 minutes out of 30 were spent discussing Adam’s being gay in some way shape or form (AMAs, American Idol, the middle school locker room, his mom’s makeup, etc.).
The final 5 minutes were spent discussing his music — FINALLY!!!! I would have much preferred the times to have been distributed the other way — 25 minutes for music and 5 minutes for “other”. JMHO

Re: MJ’s update….is it too much to hope for that Adam would be the second guest on Oprah’s show and close the show? He is the personification of “a hard act to follow”and with the audience likely to be Adamcentric, given that we know fans flooded the show for tickets, this would make sense to me. If I were his management, I might have made this stipulation. Yah, I know it is Omnipotent Oprah, but I still would have asked for it. And surely her producers are experienced enough to be aware that it is better to finish with high energy, which, realistically, is more likely from Adam.

And, finally, I pray they do not sing together! It would be a spectacle, for sure, but I hope for a chance for Oprah’s audience–some of whom were likely aghast at the AMAs– to hear Adam’s remarkable voice and watch his incredible showmanship. I wouldn’t look forward to snickering, laughing and commenting on who can sing higher and who has more makeup on etc etc which would likely be some of the fallout from a duet.

Hopefully RCA said No if Oprah’s management suggested it. I will faceslap and eat my words if it happens and turns out it was Adam’s idea!

Loved this. Beautiful in its simplicity and depth.

I thought the Fuse interview was really good. I didn’t mind any of the questions or responses. Nicely done.

On the Fuse interview, same ole same ole, agree enough of the makeup, gay stuff, how did you know you were gay?? You looked in the locker room at gym class??? Geesh enough already. I enjoyed the discussions about the Album and songs, the little there was of it.

I offer you my sympathies. I lost my grandma a little over a year ago. I’m a lot older than you and it was very painful. I can’t imagine how you are feeling but I hope you receive comfort from your family and memories.

I think the Fuse audience might reach some new people and even some old fans that haven’t heard his point of view. I am tired of the same old questions, but I thought the interview was nicely done and Adam was perfection!
