Adam is a busy man these days. He may have had appointments or meetings to go to before or after his Dr. appointments. I think he looks fantastic!

No matter how frustrating it is, I think he IS promoting himself by promoting everyone else. When his music comes out, all these folks will feel an obligation to promote him in response. It’s a karmic kind of thing or the law of social proof or something like that . . .

it’s a screencap of a datalounge board so i cant cut and paste, but basically someone is saying:

- filmed his parts of 2012 video, in post production, should be ready in a week
- lots of press lined up this week
- should get song clips soon
- big interviews were happening wherever this person was, he was meeting with two reporters for cover stories
- she reported that the facial hair was gone, lots of jewelry, no makeup (pix of him yesterday seem to corroborate this)
- she heard part of the song and said it was really catchy, dance beat, lots of guitar, sounds like “early Pink”, but couldnt hear the lyrics

I was watching the earlier season’s results shows. Adam wore minimal makeup, and he was gorgeous – more boyish looking. He doesn’t need it, but I guess he just likes the dramatic effect.

So lame! And that looks like a “question” pulled from a video shot a couple months ago. I’m sure this will satisfy Adam fans as we wait for news–anything, at this point–on when the single is out, lol.

Wow, good eye! LOL yeah the AO web people are not impressing me with their technical knowhow, I’m guessing they have no idea that we can see both 10/9 and 10/9 in the related video list. But how weird is it that the one labeled 10/8 is practically the same question as today’s 10/7 — he looks much cuter in the 10/8 one, and I think the answer is better. Well, except I do love his “Rockstah!” in the 10/7 on.

Adam loves Pink, but I can’t *see* him doing a single that sounds like her. I just heard “Who Knew” on mix104.1 (the station of Pink, Daughtry, and Nickleback) and I am like, Er, noooo.

I really didn’t take it as dissing Broadway or theater – he has said before that he was tired of being a “chorus boy”. He found that talent alone wasn’t enough to get you the lead roles and wasn’t happy with just the chorus or understudy. He has said in multiple interviews that theater could certainly be in his future but right now he is focusing on recording.

I don’t like when Adam says he didn’t like theater as much as he thought he did. His theatrical experience has made him what he is today. The theater community has embraced and supported him. He may need them someday. He could just say he has new aspirations.

Oh you guys are cracking me up, which looks really weird when you’re me sitting in a newsroom trying to look studious.

I’m a little confused about the Pink reference. Is this in regard to TFM or a single off Adam’s album? I doubt that they have picked the tracks for Adam’s album because he is still recording. My guess is that the final album won’t be decided until around 4 weeks before release.

I think it is probably produced 7 tracks FOR Lambert’s upsoming debut album — because by my count there are now close to 30 recorded tracks competing for a spot on this album.

And since they have keep such a tight lid on Adam’s single release dates, I can’t imagine that this reporter got the scoop on which single is coming out first.

Also, many rumors flying around that there will be a press-worthy announcement this week. (Of course, I will believe it when I hear it. Last big media announcement was ONTD_AI winning DonorsChoose contest.)

I took it as the pink reference was regarding his won single (not TFM). The TFM descriptions have been pretty similar imo.

I wouldn’t be dissing Broadway or theatre this early in the game. Just in case that rock star thing doesn’t work out. Even if does, theatre seems like a natural for him.

yeah, but the release writer was charged with hyping Cavallo, so he/she was concentrating on that goal, rather than on getting all the facts straight about an album from some other record company …. Saying “for” instead of “on” would have really gotten in the way of that!

Regarding the Rob Cavallo story that contained this quote:

That is from a Warner Music Group Corp. press release. I cannot imagine that Sony/RCA would let the “top secret” release date sequence get to Warner’s PR person unless it was an unintentional leak. It would be funny if it turns out to be true after the have worked so hard to keep a lid on the Adam single release dates — and really anything meaningful about what is on Adam’s album. LOL!!

And I can’t imagine that Adam will be doing a whole lot more work with Cavallo after this album — at least as long as Cavallo is now a key player in the WMG empire and Adam is signed/owned by the Sony empire. The big 4 don’t usually “play together”. But there are exceptions — Mark Bright is President and CEO of Word Records which is partially owned by WMG and he is producing Danny’s album for RCA Nashville. So who knows.

The good news: They don’t focus group the questions.

Dang, when Adam dresses down, he REALLY dresses down. I guess he’s just keeping it real, which is fine. But it sure makes me appreciate the pretty even more. Kris was listed before but he was under the AC format (Adam was not) and not CRH, now he is on both.

I really think that AI footage was from during the tour, there are pictures from tour press that look almost identical from Baltimore.
ETA: Actually I am absolutely certain this is old footage, some one noticed that a bunch of “future” questions are also loaded on the video player at the end when “related” videos pop up you can select them and watch, one of them actually asks him what a typical day on tour is like and he talks about being at a venue.

The rumor from ontdai, original from datalounge, says press NEXT week, not this week. People are eating weeks, lol. Elephant lady from IDF said adamstorm in A COUPLE weeks (sept. 27) and everybody expected it for last week, dont know why (she may be wrong, but the rumor was twisted).

Its a little insulting to be honest…what is being insinuated is that his fans (or some of them) are so crazy/delusional or as it was bluntly stated in his website, “ravenous” that we would watch anything that has to do with Adam.

These theads get posted while I am at work, so by the time I get home everthing has been said that needs to be said. He made the videos to get people through to his single, and with his single released the day after they end, no more need for questions of the day. So yes, there is one day lag between the two, but hey, it’s one day and a Sunday, so it’s just a gimmee.

Truthiness — I think that you may be right. The QOD are planned to get fans interested in his single release. And that unfortunately put it at 10/19/09.

But we know that the TfM video is shot and that should be ready on 10/12/09.

TfM single release – 10/12/09 (love the 1012 – 2012 date connection and it fits the movie theme)

Since they already filmed a music video for TfM — it looks like it will be released before the movie.

Well, for those us who love Adam enough to consider going to a movie just to hear him sing, I’d venture a guess that a large portion of us will still go just to hear him in THX surround sound or whatever, to experience that moment.

I adore disaster movies, but I’m on a tight budget and I would normally wait for it to be out on Netflix. But even if the song’s out before the movie, I will still go to the dang theater, because I’m just that much of a fandork. Well, unless I don’t actually like the song – but I’m praying to @god and putting my faith in Brian May that’s not gonna happen.

I have to admit…..I’ll be one of them. I have never gone to a disater movie (I think the ‘special effects’ usually look silly) and I’ve never really cared about the closing credit song of a movie before now! I bet there are others who, if they will admit it, are going just because they want to hear Adam’s voice in that movie setting. I have never been ‘invested’ in an entertainers’ career before. But Adam’s talent is just very ‘special’ and something that hasn’t come along in a very long time.

And your probably right…that’s not what’s going to draw the majority of people to go see the movie. But Adam is the only reason I’m going even if TFM comes out before the movie.

A. Mayo already confirmed they don’t know which singles will be on the album from the ones they’ve recorded. So they most probably still haven’t decided on the first single. Past idols debuted their album ONCE it was finished but Adam’s every move has been focused on. Let this guy breathe jesus christ. And it is humanly IMPOSSIBLE to meet the hyperbole so lower your expectations WAY down.

I think it’s so sad that he is the only contestant who’s been treated this way whilst others were able to make their album in peace without the frantic fans, the ridiculous hype (that KILLS careers), the crazy predictions and obnoxious persistence.

I agree with you COMPLETELY!! There are some very witty and fun comments from Adam’s fans coming from this blog. I throughly enjoy it. It’s all in fun. Now…..where’s the single! LOL

JKL I agree with you – such pressure and the expectations are probably too high. But fortunately I’d bet anything that the very busy guy has no time and far too much sense to ever read any of those hundreds of tweets and comments on blogs. Even when he had a rare twitter party, he would only answer about 20 to 30 tweets out of thousands. He most likely only ever reads the tweets of people he follows.
So tweeting him for most of us is probably akin to putting a note to him in a bottle and letting it float off in the Indian ocean. No wait that would probably stand more of a chance of somebody resourceful finding it and sending it to him!
But tweeting him anyway just relieves the pressure on us a bit I guess!
