But I can almost reconcile myself to it if it’s a frickin’ bonus, not on the rest of the album that everyone will listen to, possibly push out another song that IS Adam like (and that doesn’t suck) instead of it. It’s bad enough it might push a cool one off the bonus list, but I can still reconcile myself to that.

I guess I have a hard time understanding how some don’t consider this song ‘Adamlike’?! It’s Adam singing it, and he’s doing a fine job. It’s a rock song. Adam sings rock songs. It’s angsty. Adam does angsty. I think it’s a perfect song for Adam and am thrilled that it will be on his album so I can play it over and over with the rest of it. I am going to clutch this song to my chest and hold it close to my heart because I have a feeling there will be songs on the album that won’t be my cuppa (just like this isn’t someone else’s) and I can listen to TFM. Have I said this morning how gorgeous he sounds and looks in this video? Gah…..

I like TFM, I flove Adam’s video…And the most impt thing is We Adam’s fans appreciate what he brings on us, because in every work he does he gives his best to give us a very good and nice entertainment.

by some of the comments on this thread. Seems some people are talking about TFM failing miserably, WTF? The song is #9 in Itunes Pop, #11 overall, made it to #1 on Amazon, is high on the charts in Finland and Canada, all in under 24 hours. How did this get translated to not doing well. Looks like it is doing pretty darn fantastic considering the song is barely starting to get promoted by Adam and it is definitely not a mainstream song. BTW it is not meant to be, it is a movie soundtrack song, which makes this even more amazing. Seems like some people have to twist the positve into negative at all costs when it comes to Adam. I for one am thrilled at how well it is doing. The video is great also. Adam looks beautiful and sings and acts appropriately for what it is. Is he supposed to just stand there singing a love ballad without any emotion while chaos is exploding around him? Well done Adam!

I think he had a great day and I am very happy. You have to understand there are certain people who will say negative things about Adam any chance they get. You just ignore them, and enjoy the music. So far he has had the most success, and that bothers certain non-Adam fans, because their favorite is not getting a lot of attention. Adam has the potential to do a lot more than what the other idols have been able to do.

Ah, ESQT… remember “2012″ is a big movie and there are other people who might buy a soundtrack of it besides Adam’s fans when they come out of the movie. Plus the fact the soundtrack comes out two weeks before Adam’s album, so there won’t be any cannibalizing of sales. Adam fans that want to have “2012″ in their collection will buy it and so will people that just want the soundtrack. In fact, most fans will just buy the track on Itunes without buying the whole album anyway…

And there’s a track record for artist’s albums and soundtracks sharing songs. It certainly didn’t hurt Celine Dion to have “My Heart Will Go On” on both the “Titanic” soundtrack and her album…

I’m sorry if I’m totally out of the loop and missing the obvious, and if I’m making people repeat things, but where do we have the info from that TFM will be on Adam’s album? All I remember Adam’s saying is that it might be a bonus track. Also, why do we think it may be his album single? I can’t remember where specifically, but I’m sure I’ve heard him say on a number of occasions that this was definitely NOT the case. Clue me in?

Once upon a time there was a rock group called Aerosmith that hadn’t reached the Top Ten in 9 years. Then they recorded a song called “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.” Not only did it not hurt their credibility but the big soundtrack song brought them a whole new fanbase…

Then there’s the story of country star LeAnn Rimes, who did a big soundtrack song called “How Do I Live” which reached # 2 on the pop charts and became one of the longest running songs on the pop chart ever…

Are you sensing a trend here? And remember, in Adam’s case, there will be a two pronged attack. “TFM” can easily be a hit on adult contemporary radio, while whatever fierce song RCA promotes from his album will fly high on dance oriented and pop/rock/R&B radio. In this case, two is better than one!

About Adam’s mv, i have six words. GORGEOUS!!! Even with all the soot & grease, he looks stunning!! …AND THOSE EYES (i.am.melting)…luv the HAIR, the trench coat, everything –he really looks masculine here. Not OTT for me; it was just right. What can you expect from a music video for a disaster film? him standing like a stick with all those high notes? (that would look odd…LOL).
It doesn’t make sense that they’ll include TFM in his album. They’ll lose sale; ppl will start cancelling their 2012 soundtrack preorders once they know TFM will be included on the album because many (myself included) purchased the soundtrack just for the TFM. Maybe it’s just a PR mistake. Although I prefer one more extra new song instead of TFM, I don’t really mind, if they do…it’s extra money saved for me.
