This is so interesting. I would love to hear more about this if you are willing to spill details. I don’t work in this area, but I have always been fascinated with the notion of branding, and I think that Adam is in the process of creating a strong brand that is going to appeal world-wide.

Adam is frequently mentioning products on Twitter and in interviews. In one interview he said that he feels that part of his job is introducing people to a lifestyle that they might not otherwise be aware of’“which includes types of music, clothes, jewelry, makeup, etc.

Have you noticed how many of the articles out there portray Adam as a product endorser? What’s his favorite x? What’s his favorite Y? Heck, even Details is doing a countdown of his nine favorite things. We get to find out his favorite condom for goodness sake. (I’m assuming that will be given to us on the last day; I guess they are going for the ‘climactic’  moment of the countdown). He also does product endorsement in the In Style magazine spread.

Donors Choose was a great branding test. All Adam had to do was lend his name and image to Donors Choose, and suddenly, all their projects for arts in the school were funded’“several hundred thousand dollars worth. The Adam Lambert brand is powerful!!

Although Adam wants to be successful in his singing career, in the longer run (and maybe even intermediate term), it is his branding potential that is going to pay him the big bucks!! And I mean huge! I’ve always thought he had tremendous potential for product endorsements and advertising.

His words of truth, meant a lot, coming from a heterosexual, christian family man. You can hear the conviction, in his statement. His words were so humbling, and spoken with earnest true feelings. A very powerful decree.
It made me think, of the John Lennon song, ‘Give Peace A Chance.’
It has an epic message in it,……”War Is Over, If You Want It!”
I tend to apply this to everyday life, and the criticisms of people’s life styles.

I believe Michael’s attitude will help him greatly, if he wants a career in the music industry.
I wish Michael Sarver, much success. He is a songwriter as well, which many may not know this.
I heard he has hundreds of songs written, before making it into, American Idol Season 8.
