Adam Lambert Teases New Single “Ghost Town” out April 21 (AUDIO)

Adam Lambert took to Instagram today to tease the first single, “Ghost Town,” set for release on April 21. Catch a short snippet of the tune below.

The song is off of the American Idol 8 alum’s forthcoming 3rd studio album, The Original High. Produced by Max Martin and Shellback, the album is due out later this year.

“I wanted something more internal and more grounded. A little less with the theatrical and the camp and the presentation.,” Adam said to Billboard magazine about the new direction his music is taking. “I wanted to bring it in a bit more. Being on the road with a British rock band, and being in London a lot this year, rehearsing with them and doing TV gigs, I think that has affected my sound and where we are headed with it.”

I think the potential is worldwide superstar, said Warner Brothers CEO, Cameron Stang, upon signing Adam. “He has fans all over the world. He’s he’s got one of the great voices and he’s coming into his own as a person and as a man. He more comfortable with himself and his artistic vision of himself and I think there’s a confidence and a freedom that comes with having made more than one record.”

Adam just finished a European tour fronting the legendary band, Queen. They are set to play Rock in Rio this fall.
