After Adam Lambert performed his single, “Ghost Town,” live on The Voice Australia today, the song went on to displace One Direction’s buzzy new single, “Drag Me Down,” at the top of the Australian iTunes chart! Pretty impressive.
The Voice coaches, Delta Goodrem, Ricky Martin, Jessie J and The Madden Brothers all seemed pretty impressed as Adam took and owned the stage.
Today’s show marked the beginning of The Voice Australia’s live shows. The Top 16 performed for the country’s votes.
The American Idol season 8 alum is down under for The Voice performance, and several other appearances, including the Sunrise talk show on Monday morning.
