If his album is mostly electronic dance music, I’ll be incredibly disappointed in Adam or whoever decided his music for him. The closest thing he should ever come to electronic music is Let’s Dance from the tour, which was damn awesome and not electronic but sounded a bit like it .

This full orchestra track sounds amazing, though. I absolutely HAVE to hear it. I will die if I don’t.

Also, am I the only one who thinks even Adam has evolved over Idol? I remember during the course of the show I thought his voice was grating and annoying because of that wail, but he perfected it into something that’s actually very good. Still kinda annoying, but really good.

Adam’s voice has indeed continued to evolve since January. I think the being on Idol and then on tour taught him some really good things and he has used that knowledge to improve. He is not the same singer that he was during Hollywood Week.

I had a tear in my eye – so excited and I bet the build up and apex of the song will be ammaazzing!

Can’t wait to get home and listen again and again…

And the Oct 20th US release is probably accurate the actual site page for TFM says ‘original’ release date 16th – so that leads to the idea they updated the date.

I dont like his voice regardless, But I wasnt commenting on that anyway. lol Just the song..

Rule that I’ve developed over time for listening to post-Idol music (at least in the first two years or so of said Idol’s career):

If you like the Idol’s voice, just concentrate very hard on it, and concentrate fiercely on *ignoring* the song that the voice is singing …. because the song will be “meh” at best. And “at best” doesn’t even come along very often.

If you don’t like the Idol’s voice, don’t listen at all. Because the song will be “meh” at best. And you will will *not* enjoy the experience!

I like a lot of Idol voices. But I’ve stopped waiting for one of them to be showcased early in the game with any song that I particularly like in the least! This season, to me Kris’s and Allison’s singles and Adam’s movie song (as far as I can tell from the snippet anyway) are all on the upwards side of “meh,” so I’m actually quite happy!
