Check out your first official look at Adam Lambert as Elliot “Starchild” Gilbert on the “A Katy or a Gaga” episode of Glee airing Thursday November 7.
Adam will play an “overly bold performer” who auditions for Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) Madonna cover band, that also includes Rachel (Lea Michele), Santana (Naya Rivera) and her new girlfriend Dani (Demi Lovato). But, will Kurt block Starchild from the band due to his own worries that he’ll be overshadowed by the dazzling performer?

Adam/Starchild will audition for the band with an audacious performance of Lady Gaga’s “Marry The Night.”
UPDATE: Starchild is a New Jersey native! According to Entertainment Weekly, there will be trouble between Starchild and Kurt, but their issues will eventually be resolved.
“As you may know, Lambert’s New Jersey-native character will audition for a new band put together by Kurt, but, he teases, it’s not love at first sight. ‘As far as the character goes, at first Kurt and Starchild don’t quite click, but then they click,’ he teases. ‘It’s definitely a work in progress’.”
I agree with folks in comments who want to see some major shade thrown before the lovefest begins…
