So excited for this season! I thank the gods this show started off slow. Here’s hoping it has the longevity that project runway has had.

  • MickeiKnight

This must be a first; the same person judging the same person twice on two, way-different shows.

Anyway is it me or is Paula trying to recapture what she had on Idol by guest judging all these shows?

  • fuzzywuzzy

Adam will be a guest judge, not a contestant.

  • Susan

She was talking about Danny Noriega

  • fuzzywuzzy

    Oh, OK. Sorry! :)

  • Mel432

I heard it was a fun show. I just might watch this season. Rumor is Phil Robertson is also a guest judge.

    J/K.

  • ANNIEBA

    Lol!

  • ANNIEBA

We’ll about time Adam was a judge on this show. So we have Glee and Drag Race in Feb. Fun!

  • ANNIEBA

Haha, I thought the same thing, forgot a about Danny.

  • Guest

Is February when Adam is back on Glee? Way to make good use of your Lambert.

  • MickeiKnight

    I’m a him

  • Susan

Sorry, I didn’t have my glasses on :)

  • mtthew

I feel like Drag Race is upping the production this season… the guest judges are also more “relevant” than they normally are.

  • deshae78

I’ve never watched it before, but I’m going to tune in to see Adam. Who knows I might keep on watching.

  • flog gnaw

“I appeared on American Idol; I looked like a lesbian Jonas Brother.” Lol!

  • supersonic

Oh, no. I don’t want Adam Lambert infesting this show. Why does he always have to pop up on stuff that I watch?

  • twinkies-are-back

Oh no, you keep popping up and infesting every Adam mentioned post…..

  • Corrine43180

Awww, bummer for you. I’m sure you’ll get plenty of warnng of his air date so you can skip that week. I for one, can’t fucking wait!!!! Kind of cool all the articles that are mentioning him being a judge like E! And ET and US weekly :)

  • weareallinnocent

Obviously, he does it just to spite you. BWAHAHAHAHA!

    ;-)

  • Susan Reiter

Ooooooo I also cannot wait! Though seriously, this is such a perfect fit for Adam it was only a matter of time!

  • supersonic

Yeah. I’ll most definitely be skipping that episode. I don’t want to hear or see him.

Even though they’ve never watched the show before in their life and probably won’t understand what’s going on, I’m sure his nutty fans will be watching.

  • Tess Herself

I don’t think the premise of RuPaul’s drag race is to hard to comprehend. Men competing in full drag regale trying to be the best female impersonator. As much as Adam has talked about going to Tranny shows, and the fact that his close friend won the competition one year I think most of Adam’s fan base have a pretty good idea what’s going on. Oh, and to top it off Jared Leto just won a globe acting as a transvestite….and drag revues in Las Vegas are as old as the strip and no one went to San Francisco without seeing a revue at Finocchio’s and there are still a dozen clubs putting on some terrific shows in the bay area.

  • HermeticallySealed

Considering Raja is a close friend of Adam, and was his makeup artist during his first tour, yeah, you can guarantee that many of his more ardent fans know exactly what the show is about. Not even sure why it matters, one way or the other, though.

  • milwlovesadam

I was a casual watcher before Sutan/Raja’s season, but became a real fan that season. There is something so real about these guys and their competitiveness and creativity and journey in the world. There is more reality in what these guys put out into the universe, in all their makeup and costumes, than in most “reality” shows. IMHO.

Putting Adam and Paula in as guest judges is not a “trick” . Their fan bases already watch this show, or are at least aware of it.

I’m thrilled to have another opportunity to see Adam, but I was gonna watch anyway.

  • Pat H

It’s a great show! So much fun!

  • ANNIEBA

We’ll put! I love how badass and smart ass these guys are!

  • JLE12

Because he is smart, funny, gorgeous, popular, and to borrow a word from ANNIEBA, a freaking badass. Can’t wait!!

  • Axxxel

As long as Adam is not wearing that leather poncho.

  • Montavilla

He’ll probably only appear for about five minutes. You can just close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and go, “la, la, la” during the judging portion of the show. :)

I’ll try to remember and do a second-by-second Adam alert for Adam-phobic for that portion of the recap. But it might have to be an addendum, since I end up writing those things at about two in the morning….

  • milwlovesadam

Oh, honey, I don’t think he’s ever gonna wear that thang again!!

  • Landon Cox

Are you questioning the relevancy of Martha Walsh and Alec Mapa?
