Pure idealism, no place in reality. If these idols or any stars for that matter spent time trying to always please everyone and backpedalling every time they make have an oops moment, they’d never get off the internet.

And if going forward these people still don’t like or accept you and you have nothing left to give them, you then move on.

Does it really matter? Does anyone have a strong opinion one way or the other? That in itself is OTT to me. Why even care? How does it effect your life?

I do find it highly entertaining that a bunch of bloggers about Idol are accusing a contestant of buying into his own hype when they obviously have such a high opinion of themselves as armchair music critics

It is very entertaining. What I find funny, is to call fans OTT, but not find yourself OTT when you spend every waking hour posting negative posts about idols to prove a hidden agenda about a reality tv show. Focusing on negativity so much is even more OTT then people trying to defend every OTT unnecessary post.

Now I’m not talking about mj’s blog specifically, just some of these blogs in general. They are a riot, and will be the first to call you crazy. I guess it takes an OTT person to know another one huh? lol

When Adam first announced on twitter that he would be on vocal rest he specifically said it would be for a handful of shows and so it makes sense for him to be out there tonight based on something he said a week ago rather than something he said yesterday.
