I think that was misleading how they described the deal in Details. It sounds like he will receive 6 figure salary, which is hardly the case. From what I understand, they used to say the winner gets a recording contract worth 6 figures, not that the artist will receive any money. They don’t really announce that anymore. But, in the Details article it sounded like that is what he will be making. Huge misrepresentation. I think it is probably going to be a gradual climb for Adam in terms of profits.

I want to see what country goes #1 for Adam first and my bet is on Canada.

I have been lucky enough to be working on a project that involves celebrity brands right now ‘” and Adam happened to be on the celebrity list. It is private research but I can say that the Adam numbers are unique and so stunning/unheard of that we are back in the field doing confirmation work. But right now it is either a statistical outlier that will not be confirmed in the 2nd set of interview OR he really is Sunn’s ‘Black Swan’ . As an analyst, I’m not taking a position on this one.

That’s probably very true, but in several interviews he has stated that it is his father’s interest in music that got him started being interested in rock etc…

I don’t know why this has turned into some kind of snarkfest between Adam and Kris fans, but the guilty parties need to stop it. I don’t give a darn about who has sold more downloads, who’s more chartiable, who’s nicer or who’s eating captain crunch instead of cornflakes. You need to stop it, because the rest of us is sick of reading a bunch of juvenile crap. It ain’t about you guys reliving hurt feelings over Kris victory or Adam’s media buzz. I will go ahead and apologize to MJ, because I feel I have overstepped my rights as a visitor to this site, but some of you need to remember what the subject is we originally started talking about.

And I only read the first few pages so this is bringing up an old topic, but I have no desire to sleep with Adam either. At All. I liked the pictures of him alone, not the ones with the girl. I do daydream about getting to know him and being a friend. I think it’s safe to say that’s not likely to happen either!
