Adam is just amazing.

I like the fact that his musical tastes are as varied as mine. And that shows in how we have all seen the multitudes of versions of his songs. He is someone who really just enjoys music (lol except Subu..hehe sorry couldn’t help myself I didn’t like it either). Though I was never a big Madonna fan that was my sister I might have not given her a chance for spite…who knows.

Hello guys, I just got back from the Adam Lambert signing! I am sure u must have heard all about it by now. It was sooo cool!!

I finally managed to get as close to 1 foot from him.. hehehe… yeah got my CD cover signed!!! And i told him that he was amazing and he smiled… don’t know if he heard what i said, but i would like to believe he did! hehehe… I am flying now! I am even happier now cos at first i was a bit embarrassed to get my CD cover signed and I didn’t go there with that intention. And it was mostly teens in the line and I am in my twenties, so I was a bit shy about it. But i decided to let go of the awkwardness and queue up. AND as a result, I got to stand right in front of him!!!!!!! OMG!!! I am soo glad I did what I did, one less regret in my life.

And it just made me feel a lot younger and happier!

But it was late nite so I guess they are ok with that. At the beginning of the interview, was that his jacket from Gridlock? They dont dare use the one from the AMA’s. I think they hated not being involved in the Adam train. How soon till he will be back on for a performance?

I am still hoping that he will be invited to perform on Regis and Kelly again. Kelly seemed to be a big fan when he performed “Mad World” on the show. Oh I have noticed! Irritated me a lot but it’s very “asian” so I understand that they like it.

I LOVE YOU DANG DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all, I don’t have Dang Dang’s picture because it’s not allowed! So I didn’t take any. But someone took shaky, blurry cell phone pics; you just have to wait for them.
The first surprise today for me is that Adam’s popularity is much much bigger than I realized!! Big proportion of fans and teens and we are quite crazy!!! Basically most people wear black clothing and black nail polishes. Some sport very glam looks. There are people from England, Malaysia and Japan. Why do I know they are from Japan? Because they are wearing Kimonos. Also, there were all colors of people (race)!
Oh, oh, and the second surprise is the big number of male fans. There were male fans who are heavily made up and wearing netting clothing. Most of the males are teen fans. Lots of good looking guys there. There are also 30 and 40ish middle age male fans too. There are also pairs of male fans. (wink, wink) and some tween (12ish) fans dressed in very rock garbs.
This is how we enter the venue: As soon as the doors open we ran into the main street. We ran and scream….. We were absolutely high spirited. There were TV cameras and I hope they didn’t capture my image; I must look like a lunatic. Many workers asked us to calm down but we just screamed something like “Oh, MY GOD!” and we scared them away. Once we get there we realized we still have to wait outside the concert hall. Outside there were lots of giant posters of Dang Dang and big red carpet like background boards.
There were lots of press waiting too. We waited for a long while and when the doors opened we creamed. Many fans were interviewed. Teens are very excitable (including me) and many of them were shouting “Adam, marry me!” The event workers had a lot of requirement for us to follow; so we shouted at them: “Whataya Want from Us?” They didn’t understand so we told them to go ask Adam. HE taught us that phrase!

Crazy Rock Night in Singapore

Today Dang Dang sang Broken Open, WWfM, happy version of MW, and……Rabbit Hole! I fogot what other songs he sang because I was too excited. Sorry! Rabbit Hole is SO GOOD.
When Dang Dang appeared on stage the screams will scare you to death! I was scared. Of course I creamed along and then I cried! I bawled! I tried to control myself and tried very hard to stop; but I can’t. I cried and I got panda eyes (original text: my eyes turned black.)
What does handsome means? What does sculptured means? Just look at Adam. I did not exaggerate. He must lose weight while doing global promotion. There’s no excess flesh on his face anymore. He looked striking.
Today he wore the variegated color Dior pants and his legs looked a lot thinner than the pictures. He have to stop losing weight. You’ll believe me if you look at him in person. At least the legs can’t be any thinner now. He wore a very glam leather jacket and white gloves. Of course he has eye make up on and he walked with pronounced inward pointed feet. Quite pronounced. I found it very funny.
Dang Dang’s voice is like from the heavens. When he sang the whole place was extremely quiet and hushed. His voice is sooo enjoyable to listen to!!!! We sang along at WWfM.
The host asked lots of Dang Dang trivia and we all knew the answers. It felt really good that we all have such deep knowledge about him. There were five lucky fans who got to go on stage. They got to hug him and were given his posters. They were quizzed about Dang Dang and of course they all answered correctly. There was a young boy (13ish) among the five lucky fans who was especially cute. He was too shy to look at Adam and when the host asked him to look at Dang Dang he only stole a shy glance…..
At the end we all shouted “encore!” and it was very high spirited. So Dang Dang reappear to sing the happy version of MW. We all twisted (dance) along with Dang Dang and his inward pointed feet. We twisted along in that heavenly voice and witness the gold certificate. We were all very high. There are far more people who love him than I imagined. And far crazier too.

Uncle Soy Sauce was very cute too. Looks like an onion. He looked at Dang Dang with a paternal gleam…..

I absolutely LOVE the voices singing with Adam. One girl is a particularly good singer.

I believe Elliott spends a lot of time in Asia and is very popular there, but I had no idea Adam would be this popular before he has even been there. Must be so exciting for him. You can feel the love Singapore has for Adam all the way over here.

I was told by my Chinese friends that if you repeat a one syllable name it’s a term of endearment. Like most pets are called by a double name. Something like cute-cute or fuzzy-fuzzy. Dang Dang is just…well…as we say in the South, Dang!

God by the time Adam gets done with the promo tour, he comes back does 2 shows in Canada, then back to the UK he is gonna be so exhausted he might never get his tour going till late in the fall or winter….*cry*

It is now about 4:08am in Japan…so I think 2 more hours unti Adam lands there. That’s time enough for more fans to show up. This is really exciting. I think we are all witnessing history. Don’t mean to be too profound…there are other more important things going on in the world, but hey, our boy (what’s our nickname for him?) is the total sum of what every child (and adult) should try to emulate. From his upbringing to his intelligence to his ability to dream the dream and have it come true!

I loved that recap. Adam and his band really are creating and getting international love and I am so happy for them (so sad Tommy isn’t getting to experience it but he will certainly get his chance).

It’s amazing how far Adam has come since we first were introduced to him. He’s doing things that none of the other Idols had a chance to do just after releasing their debut album. I remember when he was signed to a record deal and I read that statement that Simon Fuller made about him. “To find a talent as exceptional as Adam Lambert is a rare and special event,” American Idol creator Simon Fuller said in a statement. “I am thrilled that American Idol was the platform for the world to discover this brilliant young man. He is unique and unforgettable and a certain star of tomorrow.” Both Simon Fuller and Simon Cowell were right about what a unique and talented singer he is and would be a global star.

I am looking forward to him coming home, no doubt with many t.v interviews and performances. I think ABC is realizing what a ratings magnet and rising star Adam is, and want to get him back on their network. I hope by the time he comes back, we will get come news about when his tour will begin and where.

LOVED watching the Singapore vids of DANG DANG, UNCLE SOY SAUCE, AND GEGE performing! I smiled at the fans singing along with WWFM! That was too cute!! It warmed my heart to see how the Singapore fans loved, screamed, and embraced Adam. Seeing how long the fans waited (some for 7 hours!) in hot and then rainy weather just to get an autograph and a few minutes with Adam, and, then hearing the screams of joy when they saw Adam makes me feel that anyone who saw this can’t tell me that Adam is not a super-star!!

Adam deserves being appreciated like this for his amazing talent, charismatic personality, and his caring and humble attitude.

Looking forward to Adam in Japan. What a wild and wonderful ride we are on with BB!!

Yeah me too or his handlers should be smart and try to keep his flight a better secret or something so as not to have this happen. haha but in this day and age I guess keeping stuff like that a secret is pretty much impossible.

ok here is my hypothesis. I think by this pic that he did get to see the fans waiting for him but he couldn’t stop and sign stuff (think to much of a hassle for an airport). But I think he did see them….at least I hope so.

I had posted in the past about those VH1 ads..how they were so annoying. They used to be about 15 seconds and you could skip the ad. Now they are 30seconds and you can’t skip. This stinks.

Hey Cher!.. yeah still flailing! The line was quick actually, though it was zigzaggy and long. Next to the stage in the courtyard, there was a long zigzag queue and the line went on until the end of the bulding block next to the courtyard. I think that’s super celeb queue by Singapore standards .

I waited less than half an hr, and even then I got on the line towards the end. I was nervous and shy about getting in the line in the first place. But i eventually did! And I am glad, I did.

I reached the venue around 2.45 ish.. that would have been 1.45 am NY time. We don’t have DST. By the time I got there, the venue was already crowded. Luckily i found a platform to climb on and take my photos. And then people were screaming like crazy. I met fans of all ages and races. It was soo cool. Amazing experience.

Adam arrived around 4ish. Poor Adam, he must have gotten a sore arm from all the signing.
