    I think that the “Over the top – attitude” is already a part of Adam Lambert’s character, no matter how much he is dressed up… Remember Simon Cowell saying to Randy Jackson during top 5 (Rat Pack) in american idol… complaining about Adam  that he is too theatrical is like complaining that the cows mooes …

    I love the way these songs let his voice shine.  Both are great and I want that album now.  It’s all about what I want you know.

    Over the top? Adam has said many times that he is sometimes a bit over the top/ridiculous.  And that this is not brain surgery and there is no need to take everything so seriously (and a song like cuckoo is not that serious). I personally get a laugh out of it.  As an entertainer, the last thing you want to be is boring, and I think he very successfully stays clear of that.  Besides, he has proven countless times that he is capable of tender, heartfelt renditions when the song asks for it.

    I think how he presents his songs, come from his theater background. He didn’t grow up performing in bands thinking he was going to be a rock star one day. He started in musical theater and had plans to be a broadway when he grew up and in his twenties his plans changed. But you can’t completely take the theater out of the theater kid. He use all of his former training in practically everything he do as a mainstream artist. From when he’s giving interviews to performances on t.v and the planing of his tour, past experiences help a great deal.

    Adam’s performance of acoustic BTIKM from Q100 Atlanta is up on youtube. Unbelievably beautiful performance. His vocals are out of this world.

    I believe that THIS is in large part why BTIKM was chosen as the first single. So that he could do THIS in a bazillion radio stations around the country:

    I just saw on twitter that the BTIKM video is #8 on uk iTunes. I think this is great.

    BTIKM video is currently #7 on UK iTunes.  If you have iTunes open scroll to the bottom and select change country then you can select the country you want. I think there is a way to bring up multiple countries top 10′s but I don’t know how to do it.

    OK, I’m doing a ‘mea culpa’ ….

    Today I watched different versions of Chokehold, Cuckoo and Tresspassing and I am ‘over the edge’ … OMFRG delicious!

    But I have to say I am still still still in glorious love with Chokehold just as I said in my previos post.  Nothing has change except my intense passion for all of these songs … a different YT version changed it all for me.  Chokehold has me in a Chokehold of enormous proportions ….

    And I like it that way!

    I am loving Chokehold more and more. Can. Not . Wait. Any. More for this CD.

    I like all the songs we’ve heard so far, but, Chokehold is stuck in my head. I do love Cuckoo also though.

    I’m still in love with Cuckoo, that’s the one that I want to be the next single. I think Chokehold is a good song, but Cuckoo is just nuts and it would be crazy to dance to.

    Looks like an unfinished version of the Brad Walsh BTIKM remix has leaked. Actually makes me like the song a bit more.

    I really need new music from Adam in my life right now.  Watching him made me happy, happy, happy. : )  With that said, I feel like I couldn’t hear the music or lyrics well enough to form an opinion, although watching him make me happy, can’t state that enough.  I usually love whatever Adam sings simply because it’s Adam so I’m sure these songs will be no exception once I get to hear the recorded versions.

    On a shallow note, I hope Adam doesn’t lose any more weight.  Of course he looks fabulous as always, I just prefer him a little meatier.
