I was in Target and standing near the new release section and this woman said to her husband ‘Oh, there’s Adam’s CD.’  I couldn’t stop myself and piped in, I told her how great it was. She said ‘Really? He’s kind of scary though.’  I said ‘He just sings on the CD, he doesn’t jump through the speakers and grab you or anything.’  She just laughed. She stood there with it in her hand looking at if for a long time and then out of the corner of my eye, I saw her put it back.

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking I’d read that same exact story a few times. Then I wondered if maybe all the turkey was getting to me and I nodded off and just kept re-reading the same post. Thanks for posting this. I thought I might be going crazy.

This doesn’t surprise me a bit. They think they will get big ratings. Sorry, but I won’t watch this, because they dumped Adam for inappropriate behavior and then announce they are interviewing convicted felon Chris Brown. He could have killed Rihanna and they think Adam is too unpredictable for morning t.v.

OMG That’s not just any felony abuser. They replaced Adam Lambert with Chris Brown! Causing serious bodily harm (& risking your gfs life & health) in a heterosexual relationship is more acceptable than simulating homosexual foreplay as part of a public musical performance? Plus they want CB back to sing! This is just wrong on so many levels that it’s shocking… :O

reminds me of an ’80s new-wave band, every single band member is fashionable & polished in an edgy way and oh so ready for video. they look and sound awesome.

Two great performances of WWFM. What a great way to start and end the day! He sings it beautifully and performs it passionately.

OTOH, for me, WWFM sounds like SUCH a Pink song that hearing Adam sing it just makes me YEARN to hear Pink sing it instead. Adam does sound more like he’s covering the heck out of a Pink song (like back on AI and all the wonderful covers he did) rather than singing an original tune off his new album. Pink really needs to be singing this song instead – it has her signature lyrical style and musicality written all over it – her vocal styling could deliver this song with such meaning & intensity – it’d be a huge hit for her.

I feel the same way about Soaked & Music Again WRT Muse & The Darkness. OTOH Sleepwalker & Fever don’t feel as co-opted – these are diff enuf from what Tedder & Gaga usually put out that it feels like Adam owns those. Same with Allison’s Pink song – diff enuf, doesn’t feel borrowed/loaned.

Quite a comeback from the stumble at the AMAs, and if they are smart they will switch to this as the next single quickly and let FYE die.

Just my opinion though. But pretty good performance and not a bad song at all.

Yeah, they had already started the plan to have WWFM as the new single before the AMAs and were already planning on it being what he sang on shows he’s singing on or visiting.

Plus I think it’s earwormy as hell.

And yeah, good performance. And cute outfit/hair.

Nice performance. Will be interested to see what he will do on Letterman in a few years when it doesn’t follow the “performance that stopped the world” – I think it might dip back below the waterline a bit more.

Maybe Adam should have just used a baseball bat to his dancers instead…it would have all been good then I guess….such a strange world we live in sometimes! YIKES!

But man, I love this song so much.
