Adam Lambert returns from a relaxing vaction in Cabo, Mexico with blond hair! He tweeted the photo this afternoon. “You ask Why? Why not? ;) change is good,” Adam tweeted to folks wondering why the change.

It’s a completely different look for the American Idol season 8 alum. Adam is a blonde by birth, so maybe he’s just going back to his roots. Heh. It will be a lot easier to touch up than the jet black look, too.

    I am not 100% sure I like this change, though it will grow on me as his new looks usually do.  One thing is certain, he always entertains his fans, and that is why I keep coming back for more. Of course, he is always fascinatingly gorgeous no matter what.

    Adam is a natural strawberry blond but I really loved his hair dyed black. Elvis was a natural blond but his hair looked really good dyed black too and Elvis and Adam have a similar look. As long as he still sings with that beautiful voice, I’m sure that Adam’s hair color will grow on me but right now, I’m not loving it either.

    Maybe he should let his eye brows go natural.  I think blonde is cool on him.  But would like him to have natural looking eye brows to match.

    Oh no. lol. Adam. I love Adam by the way, but he looks like a cross between Ziggy Stardust and Madonna from her Papa Don’t Preach video.  I wonder if he will have more fun now since he is blonde. :)

    Man has extraordinary features.  He’s handsome in reality, but the camera just loves his face. 

    Think going blond is an excellent move right now – fans are intrigued, as well as the media, and a single is in the near future.   A nice guy – and a smart one, too.

    Hmmm, loving this new blond look about as much as I loved Kat McPhee’s and that’s not an awful lot.  It’s closer to his real color, however, it just looks so jarring with those dark eyebrows.  He still has great features; I just think they’re better accented with dark hair.

    All the changes sure are fun! I like to change my hair up too, and it has been quite wild at times. As has been said here before, my motto is ‘it’s only hair’.

    I like the Elvis look better than the Madonna look but if he’s happy thats all that matters but agree he has to dye the brows

    Love the new look, but think I will be hankering for the black again at some point. Hope he will, too. Next week’s concerts in Japan are going to be a eye-ful. Can’t wait to see the videos!!!

    Since his natural color is light it’s going to be flattering imo. Mother nature doesn’t make mistakes in hair color :) Just depends on what color toner he has on it if any. He had to do alot of stripping to get the black out and I’m guessing he’s back in the shop this week to remove any remaining orange-ish tinge if there was any…and that’s why he hasn’t released a color shot. Always fun to change things up especially after 3 years of the same severe look!

    I think growing in roots of his natural ginger will look fine and be easier than touching them up to black every week or so! I predict when he decides to go dark-er again we’ll see an interim color like a pink/red or blue! (since you have to use a filler like red before you dye blond to brown/black to avoid a green outcome)

    Agree – looking forward to the videos.  With his height, beauty, and charisma – not to speak of what outfit he might devise – and crowned with that incredible mop of pale hair – the concerts should be very “interesting.”

    After seeing pictures of Adam arriving in Japan, I absolutely love his new hair color. It’s more silver/gray than platinum blond. It’s goes great with his skin tone and his eyes will really pop. I can’t wait to see him on stage dressed all in black rocking the new hair color.
