I can't wait to see what they're going to name Adam's album and what the cover is going to look like. Always nice to have something in life to look forward to.

Wow! That truly is quite the impressive list of collaborators. Am I dreaming (or creating a new rumor), or did Adam hint on one of the interviews posted today, that we may get to hear little teasers here and there of the albums before they're released?

I am beside myself waiting for Adam's release. I can't imagine it not being amazing. I'm also looking forward to Kris's and Allison's.

@Sunn

American Top 40 (commonly abbreviated to AT40) is an internationally-syndicated, independent radio program created by Casey Kasem, Don Bustany, Tom Rounds and Ron Jacobs. Originally a production of Watermark Inc. (later a division of ABC Radio), it is now distributed by Premiere Radio Networks in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, China, Singapore, India, the United Kingdom, Malaysia and several other territories worldwide.

You should be able to locate a radio station via the internet that has it.

FifthHouseHouse, too funny! I literally just posted on the thread (slowly learning to navigate, but MJ keeps threading faster than I can jump) about Saltzman. Every entertainment reporter on the planet turns into a liquified fangirl in Adam's presence. I can't knock 'em because I seriously doubt I'd be any different (it's a sickness ...). I'll have to go back to my David and Bathsheba Bible-lore, I think I've forgotten many of the deeper themes from CCD class. Or college Religion courses.

Oh no, definitely not. But it sounds like his music will have a lot of Bowie/Queen influences, which sounds perfect for him.

Yup. Thankfully Adam won't be into metal; that would just be weird.

He mentioned in this weird Habbo (maybe?) interview (whatever that is, but it was a bunch of computer characters watching comp-Adam, who looked more like Elvis, get interviewed) that he liked the new Peaches album, which I love. My musical tastes really vary, but I love electronic stuff, so that makes me happy. I hope it is just done right. If not, I'd rather have straight dance-pop like Gaga.

I listen to a lot of music, so genre-meshing doesn't seem so weird--it's quite the norm now, in my opinion. I am mainly curious as to how rocky the dance music is.

One songwriter who mentioned writing for Adam on Twitter was Aimee Mayo, who is actually a country songwriter. I think she mentioned she met with Tedder, but she really seems excited and wants to write for Adam which is just weird since she writes the one style he said he doesn't do. haha

I think I am most excited about Sparro since I could see that sort of thing for Adam. I reserve judgment in regards to Kara since Adam seems excited about it, but then I think of No Boundaries. Poor Kara, churning out hits during her career but she finally got her face connected to NB.

Susan M., notice how Laura of Dish of Salt's necklines get lower when she interviews Adam? Even though she knows that's useless. And she giggles like a teenager and the microphone practically shorts out from the drool. Fangirl trumps Biz Exec everytime. Biologically it's Lizard Brain versus Frontal Cortex. The old stem wins. That's why you're more sensitive to the mean "spinning" -- which red alerts "survival, survival" than the fact that it failed, which is cool analysis, and you can relax. And Adam's flirting all over Ms. Dish, and never taking his eyes off her, besides the fun, is he knows, what you, especially, and everyone in business anywhere knows, Free Media is Lifeblood.

Friday afternoon is always dump the bad news day. With Michael Jackson media blitz, lots of stuff getting released. Mark Sanford, for instance, just insanely compared himself to King David being how say we say, interested in Bathsheba, and still, eventually, getting back to his throne. (Leaving out the ravaged her, got her pregnant, had her husband killed part. Or noticing the crazy hubris of suggesting he was a David and/or King.)

Keep your powder dry. Sounds like you're in a good position to affect all kinds of good change in the world.

Thanks FifthHouseSun, definitely good points and I you're right the MJ media blitz totally takes all bets off the table. I work in a media company and the sad, sick joke yesterday was, this was the best day ever for the governor of South Carolina, who was being held over the spit and then suddenly, it was, "Um ... bye!"

Believe me, I would never shill for HF, but it just seems like such a common-freaking sense solution. I am the editor of a business magazine in an extremely lucrative market and I get pitches all day long from companies begging for press and these idiots do this? For what? It makes no sense. Appealing to their business sense was idealized, for sure, but I just hate the thought of them spinning this against Adam.

To be totally accurate, Adam has said that his album will be rock at the core with a lot of pop/dance elements to it. So, pop/rock or something like that, which could be great.

Rock/pop yes. But never heavy metal rock.

It would be nice if Adam fans just let HIFIgate die. No more comments when there is a HIFI related piece on E or Access or TMZ or EW etc. No emails, no comments on you tube, no comments on Itunes. Just ignore it....HiFi will get the message much quicker that way.

They would be taking the moral high ground

Well, first you would have to explain to them what that is. And even with a map, they couldn't find it.

Very nice thoughts, Susan M, but do not waste your time. The fanbase stopped HiFi cold, Round I, by not buying. Whatever happened that brought the Citizen Vein stuff into play after that, kind of vaguely interesting soap opera detail. But not important.

This is over. Done. The Michael Jackson media shift completed it. Even HiFi know's that, you can read it in their slightly changed tone, only a couple of snidey asides this time.

And Adam's "Can't Say" on Ryan Seacrest's show sealed all core fanbase doubts forever. No one else cares. Even the fanbase has moved on to tour time.

Any correspondence with HiFi is just inviting them to use you. They wouldn't mind some non-paid forum representation. A group trying to be diplomatic would be useful to them. Save your kind thoughts for important issues out in the world. Adam needs no protecting or help anymore. Job's done. He's fine.

I kinda like the rockier side of Adam more than the dance/pop side, but that's because I hate Lady Gaga and dance music in general. Adam's lucky I still like him and will buy his cd anyways... hehe. =)

It seems like Adam is going more the pop direction.

Of course! Adam was always going pop, he said that himself

To be totally accurate, Adam has said that his album will be rock at the core with a lot of pop/dance elements to it. So, pop/rock or something like that, which could be great.
