Adam Lambert Glam Nation Live Debuts at #1 Music Video Chart

Congrats to Adam Lambert!  His Glam Nation Live DVD debuted at #1 on the on Sound Scan’s Top Music Videos Chart. His 17K debut was the best debut of any release on the chart so far in 2011. Here’s the press release:

(NEW YORK – NY) Superstar Adam Lambert first DVD, Glam Nation Live (19 Recordings / RCA Records) debuts at #1 on SoundScan’s Top Music Videos chart selling 17k units in its first week. This makes it the best debut of any release on the Music Videos chart thus far in 2011.

Glam Nation Live was shot in Indianapolis, Indiana at Clowes Hall on August 31st, 2010 and directed by Doug Spangenberg, the CD/DVD features 12 tracks plus a bonus cut and includes performances of some of Lambert’s most beloved hits such as “If I Had You” and the Grammy nominated “Whataya Want From Me”

Lambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment has sold over 1 million copies worldwide since making it’s debut at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in November 2009. He was nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and is first AMERICAN IDOL to ever tour the world in support of their debut album in the year following their IDOL season.
