Not sure if anyone is still here, but I was at the Early Show, I can definitely attest that it was a very diverse crowd (lots of 20-somethings, men and women, though definitely more women still). And in fact you can actually see me in that twitpic (oh, lordy…)

Love the video….really really love the video. I like how it’s a take on the underground scene…right up Adam’s alley.

I really don’t care that he gave the finger. and didn’t even know it until it was posted on her in a pic. Shocking, but I know quite a few who give the finger in the heat of the moment. That’s what I loved about Adam on Idol. He seemed to always get “lost’ in the song / moment, and then you would see him blink and his eyes came back into focus. Anyone remember his face at the end of BOW? I don’t know of too many people who could take the pressure and not crack a bit.

Well, I never watched too many Zodiac Show videos and I mainly saw Adam on AI, so I have to say I’m not really into the whole S&M B&D, ‘I’m the sexy ringmaster, prince of darkness’  thing from Adam. I don’t know what I expected his career to be like, but this wasn’t it. I don’t get the preoccupation with kinky sex. Great for those who dig it but it ain’t for me. I like him personally but I don’t care for this. Sorry.

Ross, it’s fine if you don’t like it, I’m sure many won’t. Also this is not the direction of his career just this song. Adam plays to the song and this one was highly sexual.

And you know what I noticed? It’s not ALL women!! I def. spot some guys there (this is apropo the discussion on one of the threads last week about whether he has raised interest with straight males’ ¦ I suppose some of them are straight, lol)

I noticed the guys too, and was happy to see them in the line. Don’t care if they’re gay or straight! Does anyone know how many people can get in to see Adam? Are most of these fans just going to the outside meet and greet?

You don’t have to be sorry- you like what you like and you don’t what you don’t. So do we all.
But if I could add me personal feelings: the MAIN (not the only, but the main) reason I like Adam so much is his versatility, his million faces. I think that if he only sang emotinal, subdued songs, or on the other hand, if he only did his wild stuff, my admiration for him wouldn’t be as high. I’d still think he was good, but it wouldn’t be as exciting. What I love about him is that can do both extremes and just about all the shades in between, both performance-wise and vocal-wise.
And you know that a lot of his performances will be very different than the AMAs, and a lot will be like it (hopefully technically better), depending on the specific song and it’s lyrics.
So I suppose you could still like some of his stuff, while not liking other stuff…
