In case you are not following the tweets. In the venue there is a huge mix of people…young, old, male, female. People of all ages, sizes and shapes love Adam. The way it should be.

Someone just said on tweeter that Adam has been offered a gig at Foxwood in CT. I t seems like Adam is wanted everywhere! After the sold-out Fantasy Springs concert event, other casinos may want to book Adam to perform at their casino. Here is an example.

Someone wrote to Foxwoods in Connecticut and requested for Adam to perform a concert there and they replied saying they have made an offer to Adam but they’re still waiting an answer from him. this article:

LP’s fiance tweeted about cutting the bangs of Tommy’s girlfriend’s hair and some crazy shippers are calling him a liar because in the past he’s said he doesn’t have a girlfriend.

Frankly these crazy ones are probably the ones who haven’t believed Adam when he said Tommy is straight. Fans don’t really know what his status is and it’s none of our business really. They shouldn’t be calling him a liar. Luckily the good outnumber the bad tweets.

Current “Idol” contestants, this is how you change up a song by still making it recognizable, (I’m looking at you, Lee).

He said he and his band didn’t really rehearse the cover.

“I rehearsed it like crazy in my car, but they did not rehearse that,” Lambert said

Adam left over 3000 people bowing down at his greatness tonight. My heart is still beating fast after listening to that song. It was one of the greatest acoustic performances I have ever heard. None of those wannabees on Season 9, could come within a mile of Adam’s talent. That performance was beyond anything he has done before, even Mad World.

Just got home from Fantasy Springs. I agree with all the above posts. It was the most awsume concert I have ever see. Each and every song was totally unique and soul moving. Adam is truly a Rock God. I hope everyone has a chance to see him. It is a life changing experience. I am so happy and appreciative of all the videos that are popping up. Yikes, I need to go to sleep but finding it hard to let go. And to add to the fun tomorrow I am going to the Pantages in Hollywood to see Fantasia in the Color Purple. Be still my heart!!

Ok retjenny, Cindij, and all you other lucky souls who got to go to Fantasy Springs (and there’s lots of you — I counted 15 MJ’s peeps who said they were going), you know that we need recaps, right?

You know, we Adam fans weather so many storms with him, but it’s performances like tonight that leave no question (in my mind at least) about how amazing, talented, and wonderful this guy really is. The acoustic songs were out of this world. And his strut during Strut? Perfect!

I loved seeing him smile so broadly after each song– he was happy tonight. Must have been a relief to feel the strong support of his fans after the storms over the past week.

And how lovely was that video with Isabel? He was so attentive and sweet to her.

Ahh, my heart is full. Thanks Adam, as always.

saga, I think it was you who said in another thread that we’re just going to have to get used to the sensationalism of the UK tabloid press. Sounds like you Brits have figured it out. Just watching the videos now. Oh wow, I really need to see him live. I just loved the way the crowd went wild when he sang “it’s me, I’m a freak but thanks for loving me”. I got goosebumps (silly reaction, but whatever). I’m really happy his parents were there to hear it.

Okay, I’ll let other comment on how beautiful Adam sounded, especially during the accoustic songs.

I just wanna add how much I appreciated his trippy-hippie (tye-dye pants), retro-rock (feather shoulder padded jacket), glammy (sheer sleeve, bat wings), hard rock (as in rings made of actual big rocks), shaman/tribal (hair feathers, “survivor” style necklace) style last nite. Living up to his fashion motto, “More is more.”

Just finished watching the videos. I am on the floor and my computer is down here with me. I thought Strut was fantastic. I think now this should be his next single. That’ll probably change though. Also WWFM and Sleepwalker. Broken open were great. No words for WLL…just amazing. I also was checking on which songs he hasn’t sung yet too. I love TFM. Wonder if he’ll EVER sing it live and in what type of “arena”. Didn’t notice the no nail polish…have to go back and look…couldn’t take my eyes off of his eyes. I noticed too the dudes in front of the person taking most of these videos. Love that. I think we’ll see more of them at the shows. Really seemed like a great mix of people.

I’ve only watched WLL and SFW. Loved them both. WLL was beautifully original, and for reasons I can’t fully explain, it confirmed for me my long held suspicion that Adam really is Freddie reincarnated.

I do believe that SFW will be my favorite live performance off FYE. It’s not even close to my fav recorded, but something about it live really moves me.

Ok that Soaked performance was stellar and he really looked great. I usually am not a fan of his fully decked out looks but I have to say beautiful.

I love SFW…it’s one of my favorites on the CD, but any song I think I don’t like, I watch him perform it live, and I’m hooked. I wasn’t a big fan of Sleepwalker until I saw him do it on stage.

Also I think not having an encore can make a show seem short just because people have come to expect them and feel cheated when they don’t get one. I just want Maste Plan and PUU dammit! I don’t like Loaded Smile so I won’t miss it. I wouldn’t mind hearing Aftermath or TFM but they are not high on my list. MP and PUU are very high on my list…

His voice was so clean and yet haunting. He sounded as amazing on the ballads as he did on the up beat songs. This was the best live vocal of FYE he has done. Well the look is unusual. It’ll be interesting to see what gigs he gets after the Canada casinos. They might decide to add on to that and do a full fledged tour of Canada. So whoever had Canadian casinos in the pool for Adam’s first tour might be a winner.

Looks like his trademark song will be sexed up version of WLL. Can’t decide if that’s good or bad.

A couple of people that twittered from the show last night said “something weird is going on between Adam and Tommy”. During the show as well as not either of them showing up for the after party. No one could put a finger on it. Probably nothing.

Positive feedback always seems to be good IMHO. But I sort of disagree I think his trademark is becoming the slower ballad songs (Soaked, Broken Open, Mad Word, Bluesy WLL) then his more dynamic songs. I still think SFW is the best live song he does. But have to say the Bluesy/Jazzy arrangement of WLL was spectacular.

Not a problem at all! I didn’t get DTRH, unfortunately. After trying to tape and dance during Strut, I switched to taping only the slow songs. My DTRH would have been shakier than The Blair Witch Project.

To my West Coast sisters who provided these videos: a most heartfelt THANK YOU. As we East Coast folks are surviving our upteenth snow storm, the HEAT from these performances is most needed. WLL is absolutely incredible. The guy is a legend.

Cook only sang 11 songs last night, so getting 13 from Adam was a good number. David and his band have done 150+ shows together so they had plenty of songs to choose from.
I think this is pretty standard for a casino show. BTW, Fantasy Springs sent out information at the very first of the ticket sale that said it was going to be a 50- minute set.

I found the setlist kinda short for a concert, but maybe it is the venue? I’m used to seeing a 20-22 song setlist with a 1 to 2 song encore, so maybe that’s why it feels short to me.

I was away for a week and I can’t keep up with anything!!!!

These pics look amazing- and I can’t wait to watch all the performances already!!! Looks like Adam in all his Zodiacabulous glory! Woooooooohoooo!

If him and his band don’t perform acoustically on TV soon, they’re officially silly.

He needs to wear this attire with the turquoize makeup and all the jewelry, the pants and the thin loose top (all fabulous & flattering) and sing acoustically on Idol.

I never got into his AOL performances, especially with the unflattering lighting, and just his voice in general.

Everything HERE however, was perfect for him, he looked and sounded really flawless.

He found his balance. Everything kind of just came together.

Most Pop artists have fans in their 20s. Idol contestants have many middle aged fans. I think Adam has many senior fans just like Taylor Hicks a very different artist. And as long as fans can buy a ticket but don’t dedicate their lives to stalking him with flat Adams, no problem.

um…I thought of something clever to say but I’m still very much affected by Adam’s sensual and powerful performance of WLL last night.

If he sounds that good on a homemade video uploaded through a cell phone or home camera I can’t imagine just how good he must sound live. I saw him on the AI tour and he had the crowd eating out of his hand. I think he is going to change his concert up depending on where he was playing. Note the outfit he had on last night – it was a nod to Indio.

I think he should be on SNL. Did you see the parady they did. It’s posted on YouTube. It’s hysterical. It says something like We are the world part 2 to aid in the disaster of We are the World part one. THey were making fun of the people that were selected this go around to sing We Are The World. 90% of them no one heard of. So they had actors dress up as the people they thought should have sung in it. It was an all star list. Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Willie Nelson and Adam Lambert. A must see.

To put it politely, I have seen pics of the Glambly and many of Adam’s fans are the same age group as the Soul Patrol I KNOW he also has younger fans but he does have a large group of older fans.

Based on the crowd the Glamily Reunion attracted, the review linked above referred to Adam’s fanbase as being women over 40. In the comments, though, a poster made the valid point that younger people like herself likely couldn’t afford the cost of show tickets plus the cost of the pre-party. I just kind of assumed that the pre-party was for the people traveling into and staying at hotels in the area, and most of the people doing that would likely be a little older, in my opinion. Posters on the review articles and tweeters last night indicate that the actual concert crowd was pretty diverse, with a mix of women and men (but more women)and fans ranging from 10-90 (but most in their 20′s – 40′s range). Sounds like the beginning of a healthy fan base to me!

Wow he looked and sounded amazing. I loved hearing Broken Open and WWL in particuliar. I agree this is the best FYE, he has performed live. It is sad he didn’t sing it like this at the AMA he would have sold alot more albums IMO for his first week.

I read alot of comments suggesting his fans are SOLELY over 40 somethings and I tend to think it is relative to the venue.
Here at Fantasy Springs the tickets (and Glamily pre get-togethers) were pricey and the venue caters to only 21+ so you are going to see pictures of people who can afford to buy, buy some more and travel and stay (did I say buy more) to see Adam.
In a venue like the Canada TV show vids we saw, teens were flailing to see/hear Adam.
And in the iheartradio videos young and older.

fans are fans, full house/sold out is what it is. Great videos showcasing his talent, wonderful.

He will just keep getter bigger and bigger in the world as an artist.

I agree with every word. The crowd was very diverse and there were a lot of men which I was happy to see. When he started WLL, I turned to my sister and was like ‘omg I love this’. Seriously every song was gorgeous. I was happy his parents were there, they saw their son perform an awesome show.

Wow!! What a night !! I just got home and I’m still on a high. We had a lady in our row that flew in from Canada just for the day.
I have to agree with everyone that WLL was unbelievable. It was mesmerizing. My sister looked at me and said he is teasing us and I said this is foreplay.
The pre concert party was nicely put together but mainly women of a certain age. Just like me.
The concert was filled with every age group and sex. We had a couple in front of us and the husband said he came to support his wife.
By the end of the concert, he was a fan. Adam was in his element. He is what has been missing in music for a very long time.
Oh and I forgot to mention the husband is a biker dude and now is a Adam fan.

I really believe that this ‘wide range appeal’ is part of Adam’s master plan for success in the music industry. He began by doing something for everyone on Idol — pop, rock, ballads, etc…..
That worked! This ‘mixed’ trend continued with his debut album. That worked, too! We know that Adam is very smart and knows what he is doing. The glam thing he has going on is very appealing to many of his “older” fans. They are the ones who remember David Bowie from the 70′s. I would think any musician would be thrilled to have this wide range of appeal.

Videos are great!!! Adam is the best thing AI have ever produced. Adam, please, keep rocking!!! You are awesome!!! AMA was a learning experience, it’s all behind now. Hope he has a new single soon.

I just kept thinking “Ziggy Stardust”…. this guy is literally Ziggy that Bowie was singing of, and Monte and LP and Tommy are his Spiders from Mars…

His WLL, surprisingly, was as closest to Robert Plant as I’ve ever seen it, not as in copycat (at all!), but as in that he seemed so inherently confident of his sexuality, and just like Plant was, with the low-cut tight jeans and all…

I wasn’t born yet in the 70′s, but I am completely inamoured with some of what went on back then, that I am so excited that someone like Adam came along to revive it, while at the same time mixing it with current art…

I am saving my pennies for whenever he comes around my parts…

Oh- and last thing- Broken Open is my favourite song on the album, and hearing it sung live for the first time tonight, I realized that this artist is really here to stay. He really isn’t “just” an amazing performer. He’s a full-fledged artist, including songwriter. That song is already classic to me, and his voice was just magical.

Well, I think that “mixed age” for a typical concert is more like teens through 30s/40′s with the occasional older person. Unless the act is a nostolgia type act that peaked 30 years ago.

But for a new act just hitting the charts now, having a lot of people over 40 is unusual. That’s why it gets attention.

But is not unusual for acts coming off idol. The show has a lot of viewers over 40, so that’s what happens.

Ok seriously I think they need to pull the WLL videos from yt……..cuz I can’t stop watching it, i’m at work and I really should be doing my job.

I prefer to think he is JUST THAT GOOD, and that is why all ages are simply CRAZY about Adam! No way that can be anything but excellent! All the explanations about Elvis are that many adults thought he was to be banned for his sexually explicit gyrations, as they called it, or simply they didn’t “get” him, so 50′s kids loved that most of their parents couldn’t stand him, and many grandmothers were simply aghast. Those kids are now the grandmothers, so of course they are going to LOVE Adam…their frame of reference is just so, so different. They aren’t going to all of a sudden get stuffy if they once loved Elvis and his contemporaries. Times really have changed. Age does not matter. Everyone who wants to adore Adam should be allowed to do so in peace! Those young people following Elvis are now the older people, but still young-at-heart, so cheers to them for having the good taste they have exhibited by loving Adam. An artist can never have too many people love and support him. Adam is epic. Thanks to MJ and all those who attended for making our day with videos and pictures. Adam is a star. We are so fortunate to exist right now in the age of Adam and have him throw a little glow from his light our way. He is special beyond belief.

He is definately getting better the more he sings these songs. He seems so much more comfortable with them. I’m not sure what to watch next!!

To tell you the show was “great” would not be doing it justice… He was incredible… I think if I had to pick my favorite number it had to be WLL…. First of all I was surprised it was a part of his set…secondly.. ACOUSTIC.. IT BLEW my brain away.. OMG.. I mean… I was unable to form coherent words after that number.. it was amazing. His whole acoustic section was great.. Sleepwalker, WWFM, Broken Open, Soaked… so beautiful.. I loved it! So worth the 3 1/2 hour drive in the rain..and in crazy traffic. : D

YES YES YES to this!!!!

The whole show was awesome but WLL was definitely a pinnacle if not the peak. I was lucky to be there as we live only 40 miles away and I feel like I won the lottery that we lived close enough to go. If he’s not a star, there is no explanation.

The most amazing this to me about this whole show was Adam switch WLL to acoustic on the drive over to Indio. He said band never rehearsed it, and he said he rehearsed it on the drive over. That performance was improvised for the most part.

Also, my guess is that Master Plan is coming up at some point in the future because it was on the rehearsal song list that Doug tweeted.

Just recovered from this concert from last night! – man it was insanelly good. Since I don’t twitter well or video-tape well, I didn’t offer… I went to just enjoy it, and boy did I ever enjoy this one. Two things really stood out acoustic WLL and all the “blue hair” people. My daughter, 18, was the youngest as far as we could see, on the way in though there was a 13 year old with her mom. Adam’s vocals were (and are) out of this world, well from Planet Fierce. And he truly was a glitter alien yesterday, very very beautiful. My daughter said he was cute, because he was so feminine – duh!
The whole acoustic section was so mesmerizing, I am still swooning…
Also people came from EVERYWHERE, next to me from Oakland, behind me from Vancouver and (get this) from Taiwan!! Flew in just for that 1h and 10 min concert -CRAZY.
But I get it, once you’ve heard him life, you’re hooked for life, if you aren’t already…..

So happy you enjoyed it GreenHippo!!! The acoustic WLL seems totally out of this world.

My post was a response to the assertion upthread that older concert goes are typical – even in casinos. I was just saying there’s older, then there’s OLDER, and Adam’s (like many Idol’s) concert crowds are indeed different than the typical. Pop radio is generally aimed at 12-25, and HAC tends to aim for 25-early 40s. So people in that range showing up for a pop/HAC act is pretty normal. But a significant amount of people at Adam’s concert were older than that, so it will get attention. That’s the way it is to me… he’s from Idol.

Of course that can change over time, its just no use trying to run from it now, you know? It is what it is. YMMV.

Amazing concert last night! WLL was epic. The crowd was a good mix…which was a massive relief after the complete and utter freakiness that was hanging out in the hotel lobby. (So incredibly embarrassing!! It was like some bad 80s hair metal groupie reunion.) I’d have to say that it was at least 40% male!! I also saw young and old and a number of gay couples. Most, if not all of the people we heard yelling “I love you Adam!” were men.

The desert/casino crowd always skews older. It’s the demo (on top of the Idol demo). We ran into some “snowbirds” that go to every single one of these shows at the casino. One woman said that Adam’s concert was by far the youngest crowd she’s ever seen at the casino. LMAO.

Overall, not too shabby on zero promo, but I am looking forward to concerts in bigger cities. All of the last minute tickets I put up for sale after the LA news publicized the concert drew a really young, diverse group. Can’t wait to see them next time.

Hi everyone!

Loved, loved, loved the entire set. I live in L.A. Waited too long and sold out! My husband said to just go and try to get tickets especially since the east coasters were snowed in. i’m a planner and didn’t act spontaneously and am now kicking myself. I missed out on this once in a lifetime epicness. His whole “indio” vibe with the flowy, feathery costume – and then the hat just sealed the deal!
The world will snatch him up and tickets next time around will be well over $500.00 for a decent seat. I missed my opportunity and I now will go pull myself out of depression…However, I knew I could count on some incredible videos so thank you to all who posted those amazing quality videos. Here’s to the new reign of rock, roll and glam! All hail King Adam!

I was there center stage 11th row and believe me the audience was diverse, kids from 8 years old up, a lot of teens, and what got me was the amount of younger guys and specifically 3 marines two rows ahead of me who were comped the tickets. They had no idea what they were in for and by the end of the night were yelling, clapping, dancing and completely enjoying the music and the singing. The sheriffs’ I spoke to all agreed the VOICE was amazing and none of these macho men were freaked out about Adam Lambert’s attire and makeup by the end of that mandated hour long concert.

I was so happy to be at Adam’s first solo concert and doubt that those of us living in SoCal will ever be able to get fantastic tickets like that again so easily.

I only guess that Adam’s record company is paying attention to the fact that Adam can sale out his concerts rather quickly. They have to be liking the fact he has fans all around the world willing to come all the way to the States to see him in concert. I think their are a lot of people like myself, who would pay extra to see a great singer, because there are not a lot out there. I just wonder when they are going to announce his touring dates in the U.S and certainly Canada.

Thanks MJ for posting this and thanks to all of the people who took videos. My daughter and I had a great time watching them and giving each other our “Adam what the heck” look when he surprised us. He was awesome!

How funny when that chick got on stage and Adam never missed a beat dancing with her. I thought she was part of the show at first until security guided her off stage.

I bet his parents are so proud. I feel super happy for them. Must be amazing to have a child prodigy, and see things falling in place for said child. I just listened to “Soaked”, which was beautiful.

Gotta say that DTRH was my absolute favorite. So full of EXTRA energy I thought. Also am crazy about that version of WLL. There are no words that haven’t already been used to describe how truly great this concert was. The band’s celebration at the end was heartwarming–hugs,backslaps, etc. They knew they killed it.

Thanks for all the videos! I still can’t get over how amazing he sounds live. I played a couple of them for my mom, and she kept insisting that he must be lip-synching, saying, “Isn’t that what they all do these days?”

Again thank you MJ and all who posted videos on Youtube and here. I have watched every video (more then once) and I felt like I was there. I get so engrossed in the performances. I am glad MJ posted the set list I have started watching the videos in that order and it makes you feel more like you are part of this amazing talents first real introduction to the world. I think this was the real Adam and that is why is was so frigging good. Damn the guy can entertain and draw you in. The band is great too. Monte and the drummer really stand out. I wish Tommy would develop some moves instead of just walking back and forth but I don’t want him out of the band. It does add to the coolness of it. The new keyboard player looks like she will fit in and add to the band. I miss Lisa but I think the new girl will be great. Did I mention how much I loved these performance. Because I do.

These are really great, especially WWL. Adam is, as someone already mentioned, like sharman or medium for music. I’m not a concertgoer, but I must go to his concert someday.

WHAT AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE AT THE FANTASY SPRINGS CONCERT!! WLL left me speechless! It was definitely an ‘epic’ acoustic version of that song. I will think of that song in a whole different way from now on!! All the songs were fantastically done.

WHO CAN SING AND PERFORM LIKE THAT?…..ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!!!

I just got back to MI from Fantasy Springs…and I’m still speechless about what I saw. We all stayed up until nearly 4am this morning watching the videos, and talking about what we witnessed. Every person we talked to at the Casino was feeling the same things…it was like nothing I have ever seen from Adam before. He was in a zone that sucked you in for the entire performance. I love all of the band members, but I have to say I couldn’t take my eyes off Adam all night. I probably looked at Tommy 2-3 times. A witchy dream catcher was the first thing that came to my mind when he took the stage. WLL was on a level that can’t even be described. You felt like you were on some acid trip with him for 7 minutes. Fever….unbelievable. I need to get to bed, but this last weekend was an event that I will never forget. I’ll read what everyone else has said tomorrow. What a performance….unbelievable.

This may sound like a stupid question and I apologize in advance (I also apologize to mj if this is against the rules) but I downloaded a bunch of youtubes of Adam’s fantasy springs performances as well as an mp3 version of WLL yet have no idea how to transfer them to my ipod. I am desperate to get them onto my ipod and seem to recall getting some of his other pre-idol songs on my ipod but can’t remember how to do it now. So frustrating. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Occasional poster here. That was an amazing show and a fun introduction to Burning Man Adam. After listening to him for a year, I’m still astonished by his vocal range and versatility. It will be fascinating to watch him develop as a solo performer. Acoustic WLL didn’t work for me but I hope he’ll play around with it and give it more of a bluesy sound.

Watching these videos reassures me that, whatever else is happening in Adam’s world, it’s still about the music. And in conclusion, I’d just like to say “ADAM FREAKIN’ LAMBERT RULES”.

So happy for all of you that went to FS and had a blast. Thanks for all the vids!!! Wish I could have gone too. Sounds so freaking amazing. What an incredible voice and he always keeps upping the bar. Just when you think he can’t get any better, he does something like that acoustic WLL that leaves us speechless, then gushing. Thank you MJ for posting all the vids so quickly.

Well good things from the post —
1. Adam achieved GOLD status in Singapore!
2. They are releasing a Deluxe DVD!

Adam’s first headline concert last night lived up to and exceeded all my expectations. It wasn’t just the amazing performance but it was being with 3000 + fans who adored Adam and weren’t afraid to show it. It made such a great change after a week of hateful comments directed towards him online (on other web sites, of course).
The other interesting thing was how many fans didn’t know he was doing two concerts in Vancouver in April and were even more surprised to hear that the shows sold out in minutes with zero advertising. I told them they better start reading the AI/Adam Fan Boards if they want concert info, as Adam’s management may never have to spend too much on advertising. It will all be word-of-mouth.

Mardi Gras looks so much fun, I hope Adam comes back!

So, he’s gone gold in 3 countries or am I missing one? US, Canada and Singapore!

I said this on another board and I’ll post it here: Does acoustic WLL have the same result for anyone like ROF did? I was hypnotized by ROF – played it over and over again. I find I’m doing the same thing with WLL. I’ve still got a few videos to watch but Fantasy Springs concert was like his journey on AI – a little of everything with a “WTF” moment once or twice, all in an hour set.

It’s mediabase Monday and I find I’m not interested. I’m watching anthrogeekPF videos. The slow acoustic ones are stunning and video is so clear.

Hopefully this has’t been said over and over,… but I can’t imagine it will be easy, in the future, to cover Adams music, as he has covered his own songs with so many variations already. That is, if anyone wants to be original, it will be hard to find one that he hasn’t sang every which way to “Over the Moon.” Since they need to give credit, they will have to refer to eg; WLL, by Adam Lambert, Feb 27 2010 Fantasy springs Cal/USA. Hee,Hee!

Ok sorry correction, on re-reading the post by Sony Music, it sounds like the GOLD status they are referring to could be the US Gold Status. NOT Singapore but I am not sure (?). This is what they say:

I’m starting to worry about trying to get tickets to one of his tour concerts this Spring/Summer given that these first 3 have sold out so quickly (2 of them in minutes!) I wonder if he’ll perform in larger venues. Well, I guess I’ll worry about that later. Too much to enjoy right now! The videos are incredible.

So it’s a city that’s absolutely perfect for Adam!

RCA has to know all of Adam’s fans want to see him in concert, they need to let us know when he’s going to tour and where. I am seeing him sometime this year, I don’t care where I have to drive or fly to, but I am not going to miss out on hearing him live in concert. I think Adam has proven he can sell out a concert, the one at FS proved that point, because that one held over 3000 people. As for WLL, I still haven’t recovered from first listening to that on the Stream. Last night I listened to a really old Janis Joplin tape and she was singing Cry Baby live and that raspy, bluesy voice, brought you to tears and made you wonder if this woman was human. Hearing Adam singing WLL, brought back that same feeling of wonder and amazement. Anyone non fan of Adam who looks at this video, will understand our loyalty and dedication to this man. He delivered the most memorable performance of this decade for me.

I hear you, lol I already have $200 saved. Just waiting, and waiting and waiting for the word on when and where. Thouugh I have mixed feelings about the size of the venues. On one hand I would love for Adam to be able to fill/sell out large arenas. Lol mainly cuz it would mean I could get tickets. But on the other I don’t want to watch Adam from the nose bleed section. I want to see Adam up close and personal. I never got to see him on the AI tour. Lol I didn’t even know who he was until Monday morning after the AMA’s.

Its been three days now…and I still come back to these clips to re live Fantasy Springs. I’m truly blessed to have witnessed Adam up close at Idol Tour, Gridlock and Fantasy Springs — and even Leno tomorrow. The plus of being in S.CA.

Adam brings SIZZLE into otherwise normal lives!

I’ve got more than that set aside. I live in the tri-state area. I want to take in as many shows as I can.

The Broken Open vocal is immaculate. Completely stunning. The WLL audio on the last video Monte tweeted is really really good, especially with headphones. I’m making a audio file of it.

Well, I am a little late on this so everyone else has probably already said it all but I still want to put my 2 cents in. I am an OTT fan so if you don’t like OTT comments you might want to skip this one.

What an amazing show this was!!! It was impossible to look away from the stage the whole time he was on. He can command a stage, no doubt about it. He was at times campy, at times very stripped down and just singing, and at times just a rock singer doing his thing but it all came together perfectly and gave me memories I will never forget. I am so, so happy that I put the money out to see his first real concert because it truly did feel extra special. Getting to meet some of his other fans at the Glamily Reunion was icing on the cake.

My favorite performance was, of course, WLL. What he did with that song will stay with me forever. The video on this site is great but it doesn’t give a feel for how mesmerizing it was to watch it live. I am pretty sure I didn’t breath for the 8 minutes he was singing it. It was also pretty cool the way he thanked the band for practicing it so many hours with him to make it right when they didn’t need the practice. I thank them, too. The result truly was worth the effort.

I also loved the campy performances of Fever and Down the Rabbit Hole. He was channeling the Zodiac Show with those two songs and it was so much fun. He had been a little campy in some of the earlier songs but by the end he was having a ball because he knew he was completely killing and he let it all hang out and again you just can’t fully appreciate it from the videos. Live was just too awesome for words.

For me, though, the highlight was the acoustic songs. I have already mentioned WLL but all of the songs he sang acoustically were so beautiful. His voice and what he can do with it touch me in a way that the fun of seeing him being campy and silly can’t. When he goes from low, followed by really high notes, to just long drawn out beautiful, soulful notes it makes my soul feel right with the world. Adam’s voice is what makes him, the looks and personality are just extra tasty side dishes.

My final word is that I was shocked to realize he had sung 13 songs. It went so fast and seemed like he was up there no more than 20 minutes or so. I could have easily sat there another 2 or 3 hours watching that show. That’s how much fun it was. I can’t wait to see him live again.

Honestly, I don’t know. I call my daughter and college and she does it for me – lol You can probably do a google search and it will show you.

It makes me so happy to hear that not only were Adam’s fans totally mesmerized and having a ball, but that Adam himself knew that he was killing it and was clearly having a ball, too. Just love the guy.

Ok, so I misunderstood!?!? I thought I heard him thank them for practicing for hours to make the song great and he really thanked them for doing it with no practice? My version of the story makes more sense, LOL. They were all awesome on that song. If they really did that with no practice then Adam needs to be down on his knees thanking the universe for sending him such an awesome band because it sounded like they had practiced for hours.

BTW, thank you for the link. I am still blown away by that performance. After I listen to it on continuous rotation all day tomorrow I may be able to get over it.
