UPDATED with stream from AO: Listen to a full stream of Adam Lambert’s new single “Better Than I Know Myself”

The tune, co-written by Claude Kelly has a great hook.  The tune already has a ton of buzz, we’ll see if pop radio embraces it.

Adam’s next album, Trespassing is set to be released on March 20.  The lead single, “Better Than I Know Myself” will be available for download December 20.

    I am so late to the party.  Been out of town but have heard the song and just want to say how happy and excited I am that I really, really love this song.  I love the organ at the beginning and love the way it ends abruptly and love the heavy beats.   I’m one that did not like many of his songs on FYE and none as well as this one.  I think he has done what needs to be done to be played heavily on radio and sell well.  If that doesn’t happen with this song, then I don’t think it can for Adam on any song. That’s how much I believe in this song.  Looking forward to buying it tomorrow!!

    My local radio station just played #BTIKM. Wooooohoooooo!!!! I am so thrilled. This station is still playing #WWFM quite often too. :)))

    I just can not imagine why there has been no promo for this song!  This song should and hopefully will be a hit, but with no promo, I don’t know how this will pan out!  I live in Houston & I called 96.5 today to see if they had the track and they said that they do and they have only played it twice!  I called at 6 today and the dj said that he would play it before he left his shift at  7 but he did not and I have been calling ever since and no one picks up!  I just hope RCA knows what they are doing this time.  I thought for sure they would have tried to book him on xfactor to debut the song, but it looks like the no talent Bieber is on with a few more guest, so go figure!  Unless he is played like Rhianna, Katy, GaGa, Adele 7 Bruno, I don’t see how this is going to be any different than before.  I really love Adams music 7 want him to be the huge star that he deserves to be1

    You should only call a station once a day to request. The song doesn’t even go for adds until 1/30. Based on that promo sheet, RCA is going to promo it and seems to be starting. The radio promo tour isn’t scheduled until February, relax a bit.

    the song just got sent to radio today and doesn’t officially go for adds for several more weeks. And there has already been lots of promo — all kinds of DJs tweeting about the song, along with RCA & Sony talking about it, and several articles written about Adam’s new music, etc.

    but it likely won’t be until after the New Year that Adam starts performing it live. Maybe a New Year’s Eve performance at the earliest.

    I am sooooooo happy to be able to say I love it. I love it. It sounds and ‘feels’ like a hit. Am so glad for Adam.

    I’m trying to give it a chance, but there’s just so much I don’t like.  The drumline is too in your face; the words are repetitive almost to the point of having maybe a dozen in the whole song.  I honestly get a girl vibe from it too, like it was written for a female voice.  His voice sounds lovely,but will have to eat my words if this pops because I don’t see it.  It has HAV moderate hit written all over it.

    I haven’t loved all of his artistic choices, but Adam Lambert has a clear, beautiful voice and nice, rich tone. WHY did the producers mechanicalize his voice so that it strips out what is distinctive about his sound?  In this song it sounds kind of like a reedy, light voice… or maybe that was the point? I guess they think everyone must sound like Bruno – or Bieber.

    It’s not that it’s unpleasant, just not distinctive. As for the song, I’m sure it will be a hit. It’s sound like a lot of other stuff that’s popular at the moment.

    The actual downloaded version of the song lacks a lot of the artifacts the livestream possesses. His voice is very clear and not processed. The reediness is from it being a low quality version of the file.

    who wastes their time listening to and taking the time to actually sign in on an artist you obviously dislike, uh yeah?  I swear I dont get it, I scan this blog for the artists I like and ignore the one s I do not, my time is so much more important than wasting time on being negative or ugly but anyhow I really enjoy this song and can see it doing really well and giving a gift or gifting for whatever reason is about as far from gross or ugly as you can get.  So happy for Adam fans this is fun to have new music again

    Adam looks and sounds great here, as always. Absolutely LOVE NCOE, but I hate Naked Love – it sounds so dated, annoying and vapid to me. Trespassing is a guilty pleasure – cheeseball lyrics, sure, but so much fun and such a great beat. But can someone please tell Adam that he doesn’t need to act out the entire song with his face quite so emphatically. LOL.
