I commented on this before, but I just have to say that Kris is an incredible person. He is so laid back and confident in this interview.

Thank you so much for posting this, MJ. I have been sad all day because of the passing of Michael Jackson. This has brightened up the whole day. I really like and respect both of these guys. Even though I am a Kris fan at heart, it is nice to watch their friendship. There is something strange about American Idol in terms of fandom. There really is a sense of entitlement because of the role we play in the success of American idol success. To be sure it is misconstrued. Fortunately, I think there are many fans who do not cross the line. Being interested and supportive and being intrusive and aggressive are two different things.

OMG ADORABLE! Yeah, this is definitely the best “bromance” on AI, evah. I loved Chrace and Cake and Mavid, but this? There’s no comparison.

And yeah guys – you think the fans you’ve encountered so far are crazy? Just wait til the tour. Srsly. Just wait. And just ask David Cook about psycho fans.

Seriously, this was perfect timing, it seems like the fan warring and favoritism has gotten crazy lately and this video erased so much of that. I love these two, they are adorable and hilarious.

I especially like getting to see that witty side of Kris that is normally overpowered by mind-numbingly boring questions. Yay, Kradam!

Having never been to an AI concert before, I am very interested to see how crazy the crazies really are at this thing. I consider myself a total Adam fantard–reading and watching everything about him, posting on here non-stop–but it’s completely surreal to think there are people who actually *stalk* these guys. Yikes.

I was an Adam fan during the competition and was quite disappointed with the outcome of the finale. Not because I didn’t think Kris was good, I just thought Adam was better.

But the relationship between Adam and Kris is so wonderful to see, it has cured me of any lingering disappointment that I might otherwise have had. Adam seems comfortable with the results, and his respect and affection for Kris is so obvious. Kris is so laid back, so cool, so comfortable in his own skin, which makes the moment where he puts his arm around Adam on the sofa even funnier.

Kradam is love.

I posted this before on another thread (never on the right one …). But this is BEST. KRADAM. EVER. Anyone who thought Kris was dull, has GOT to check this out. During the competition, I was a Kris Allen fan all the way. It was only for the voice and what he did to and for songs. I also had to weather the storm of my (both) gay siblings. I just wanted to love somebody for the voice and not the sexual orientation. Regardless, I’m a fan of both men because both are awesome people. It’s Kris, however, who has me excited at his prospects.

They are so amazingly comfortable with themselves. I think it’s amazing of Adam at 27, but, seriously, who has is that together at 24?
Forget the singing, these two could easily have been the winners if AI had been looking for kind, polite, humourous….hell, just all around great guys. (And, yes, I realize how fangrrly that sounds, but it is just so true!)

Gah. To echo an above poster, it is sometimes difficult to believe that two such lovely and hilarious people could be real. Their friendship, and their affection and respect for each other, are really wonderful to see.

I love that Kris is the one making all the hilariously suggestive jokes and Adam is the one blushing. Fantastic on all levels. And excellent comic timing on Kris’ part. I’m not too familiar with Idol bromances of the past–is this level of attention and interest unusual? It seems like it is.

But really, the overwhelming sweetness that emanates from these two is just amazing.

Ah fate….who would of thunk it. Georgeous gay man stuck in a roomful of religious men….gets roomed with the cutest, who is the absolute most tolerant and as fate would wish the cute guy is married. How Purrfect! And the rest is, as they say, history.

Kris and Adam seem to have become friends for life, so have their parents and families, Kris makes Adam more relaxed and, yup, actually funnier and Adam makes Kris more talkative and brings out that deadly dry sense of humour.

And the best part….we get to share in the fun. Who could ask for anything more. And I firmly believe in the truth and power of Kradam….the sun and the moon and the stars were aligned super correctly to have these two be the final 2.

so heartwarming those two. Kris did steal the show, didn’t he. He was pretty dang funny.

God, I absolutely flove the look on Kris’s face as he looked directly at the camera, the point and mouthing “Thank you” then slyly putting him arm around Adam’s shoulders. The look on Adam’s face was priceless. Made my day!

Kradam are just ridic cute and fun together. I actually find them funny. Like not in just a fantarded way, but that they are actually amusing. Not that Kris isn’t great on his own in interviews (he is) but I think his dry humor and sly wit just come out more with people he actually connects to, like Allison and Adam.

This is so cute. I could watch it all night. I’ve got a permanent smile on my face. I’m an Adam fan but just love Kris too. Kris is so fantastic for handling the crush thing so well. He’s very comfortable around Adam and it shows in their friendship. That crush when mentioned in the Rolling Stone could have gone so badly if it had been anyone but Kris. I don’t think any others in the group would have been so comfortable and dry witted as Kris is. Kris has made the crush thing fun instead of uncomfortable. But….Just thinking that Anoop is pretty cool and laid back, too. He might have been able to handle things as well as Kris. Anoop seems very intelligent, too.

I liked/loved Kris’ hair! he looks very cute with it spikey.. and Kris and Adam looked cute together with similar hairstyles – spikey and free.

I never met such comfortable guys, one straight and one gay and they just feel so comfortable and non-apologetic about it. Like they are peas and carrots or something! its very cute. they have such good chemistry between them.

Actually I believe I read the note said “curl up together and listen to music.” Curl, cuddle, it’s just semantics. Same implication. There’s a thread on IDF where one of the people involved admits that what the note said. So really, he didn’t come up with cuddle on his own, he was paraphrasing what the attached note said.

I tend to be on the side of “ick” to that type of note and gift regardless of whether or not Kris took it in stride (though I tend to think his nodding during Adam’s “crazy fans stepping over the line” comment might have had something to do with that type of thing). He’s married and it seems strange when fans project their own message board fantasies into gifts.

I think it was a very sweet gesture, since they sent Adam a ton of things and they just wanted to include a little thing for Kris. I’m sure they thought it was funny; otherwise they would not entertain those fans by even mentioning it. I think the “crazy” fans they are referring to are ones that stalk them or dig into their private lives, not ones that are considerate enough to send them gifts!

I can’t wait to see the rest of the interviews they did today!

Personally, I don’t see that as a “fine line” – pretty obvious and bold to me, but I guess some people have a harder time with boundaries.

Kris has actually said in a couple recent interviews that he hasn’t seen much craziness. That makes me trust that most of his fans have been respectful, and that he takes fun stuff like that gift in stride and good humor.

In other news … I’ve watched this little video more times than I care to admit. I alternate between watching Kris, and watching Adam. Lethally adorable indeed.

Actually, Kris told a story to one of the entertainment tv shows (backstage at the Lakers game where he sand the National Anthem) that a female fan had asked to take a picture of him — only to then kiss him smack on the mouth! I don’t think it was an elderly woman, either — but a relatively young female fan.

Just think how lucky we got…. The judges so obviously wanted a Gokey vs. Lambert final 2. Can you imagine how bad all of the post-Idol interviews with the two of them would have been? We probably never would have heard about the “crush” and Gokey talks too much about himself to be able to bounce comments back and forth with Adam. Really, regardless of whether Adam or Kris won, the true winners are the fans as we are the recipients of all this cute, cuddly awesomeness.

Actually, I disagree. Two people can curl up together and listen to music without cuddling. My best friend and I used to do that, and we sat on opposite ends of a couch, with our separate headphones plugged into the same player so we could share the same song over and over without driving our parents up the wall.

If Kris interpreted “curl up together” as “cuddle,” that says more about him than about the person who sent the gift.

If you sat at opposite ends of the couch then you and your best friend most certainly were not curled up together!! You definitely would not use that phrase to describe what you and your friend were doing. I admit it – for a few days I was really crushed when Adam lost out to Kris – still can’t watch that moment on my DVR.

But now, I’m feeling it’s the best possible outcome – we might not have seen so much of Kris and the Kradam awesomeness. Adam certainly didn’t need the win to keep him in the media spotlight – he’s got IT (not anything to do with being gay). Kris, in his own more “nonchalant” way (isn’t that a quality Adam admired?) is coming out of his shell too – and together they are DYNAMITE!

I think they are both awesome performers – I’m more attracted to Adam’s voice and his theatricality – but hope to see/hear both of them for a long time. Albums are great, but I want to SEE them – in concert, on TV, in movies. And together, they are adorable and hilarious!

Yes, Kris said “Bromances are IN” as a general statement, not just referring to Kradam – and Adam pluralized it as “bromii” (I think – even though it’s a made-up word – it would have two ‘i’s). They are brilliant. I too have a crush on the Kradam Bromance!

I am glad these two in the finals together because we would not have these type of cute moments. I also don’t think if Adam won they would be doing interviews together.

These interviews are amazing, so I’d definitely glad that things worked out as they did.

But, don’t the top 2 do a lot of interviews together every season? I’m new to this show, but that’s my impression. Am I wrong?

I think so. I didn’t follow the post-Idol press coverage too closely in past years, but know the two Davids did interviews together. And in the 1st season, Kelly & Justin did interviews together.

Kradam has seemed to take it to a whole different level, though.
