he’s not in the top 10, he’s just in their slide show on the site. I don’t think they have them numbered except for the “sexiest man alive” it’s just 100 or something other sexy guys.

Looking at these photos it’s obvious that fans voted for these two non-stop. Don’t see anything sexy about either one of them and think there’s e a number of Idols that have much more sex appeal than either Lambert or Daughtry.

Although People magazine is not numbering the sexy guys, I find it interesting that they managed somehow to pick 16 for their slideshow. I seriously doubt the other 99 guy’s names were thrown into a hat and randomly drawn.

I personally think Adam deserves #1, but that’s okay. Next year.

Jasper, Adam was already included in that list from the begining. That little clip that included a pic of Kris also showed a regular pic of someone and then several other pics would go by very quickly until another full shot would show up. That happened several times in the clip and I very disctinctly remember seeing Adam go by in one of the “quick” runs between regular shots. I have always known that Adam was included so I think we should save our grandstanding until it is well deserved. “People” has already shown a very open policy toward including Adam.

Adam is indeed sexy. So is David Cook, although Adam is #1 in my book. I also like Robert Downey Jr. being on the list. The others that are shown, not so much.

I’m not a fan of Daughtry’s music and I think he’s got an unfortunate talent for seeming like a douche in his AI appearances (other than Idol Gives Back). BUT the more I’ve seen from Chris Daughtry outside of AI the more I respect him as a person. He’s been nothing but supportive of multiple AIers, what I’ve seen of his tweets make him seem like a cool person, and he’s not someone who’s out there trying to be in the media spotlight all the time, he’s just making his music and touring. He seems like a good family man too. Those are pretty attractive qualities IMO, and his poem is pretty funny. I’m glad for Chris that he got a whole page in People’s Sexiest Men Alive issue.

It’s not. They’re chosen by the editorial staff. There’s no voting involved. Although, I’m sure publicists try to push for their clients to be on the list. But, no. The IDF poster or whomever said it was fan-based is incorrect.

Sorry but this constant dismissal of Adam’s sex appeal is really wearing thin. Adam has graced the cover of RS, Details, EW and now OUT this year alone. Comments are constantly made in the media about his sex appeal and charisma. He, as has been pointed out, was on People’s hottest bachelor list so WHY would anyone need to campaign to get him included? and if that worked I suspect Clay Aiken would’ve shown up at least once or twice on that list LOL…

Johnny Depp is sexy . . . . Adam is sexy . . . . Cook is sexy . . . . Kris, well okay I can see it. Sexiness is more than about having the conventional good looks, it is a certain aura about you. A certain mysterious, come hither appeal. Johnny and Adam both exude this in spades. DC does as well but to a slightly lesser degree. Kris does have appeal . . . but Daughtry? Well I guess its not for me to say. I can’t stand to watch the guy for any stretch of time, but as I said before sexiness is more than just good looks, so maybe there is someone who is attracted.

Yayyy for Johnny Depp and Yayyyy for Adam! If I had been asked to make a “HOT” list, Johnny and Adam would both have been there. I’ve followed Johnny since I was a kid in lust with him on “21 Jump Street”; IMO, he REALLY is the sexiest thing alive! But Adam, for being true to himself no matter what others might think (and having really hot looks and an insane voice), is right up there, too. I buy People’s “Sexiest Man” issue every year, but this year I’ll be racing to the store the minute it’s shelved!

Just to clear up some misconceptions:

The 15 guys listed on People.com are not ranked in any specific order…usually once the magazine gets past the first 3 or 4 guys there is no ranking.

Michele from Best Week Ever just did a little “hamm” stars for the 15 guys listed on People.com. Her individual take only.

The Magazine is full of sexy guys….we have no idea, really, who are included. And they may be grouped in all different sorts of categories.

And based on an earlier blip from People it is believed that Kris and DC will be included in the magazine.

All questions will be answered when the magazine hits the newsstand.

A poster over at IDF claims to have seen the issue. The picture of Adam is small and Daughtry got a full page. No sign of Kris or David.

Agreed! I find a man who can talk about his wife and praise her a great quality for being sexy. Many who may not make it in this issue are not necessarily sexy for looks, but rather how they carry themselves and how they relate to others. I can include Phil Stacey in the same category as Chris: he may not appeal to many as far as his looks, and that does not bother him at all. He is a devoted family man who has on many an interview said that he’s got a hot wife whom he knows loves him,:-). I know that Kendra must feel so good that her husband did a song about and to her nad included her in it (“If You Didn’t Love Me”). And the fact that he loves his fans, country and his God, make him just as sexy in my book.

So excited my 3 favorite sexy guys here-Adam, Johnny Depp and Robert Downy Jr(uber sexy in Ironman & very sexy, unfiltered personality!)

I think Cook and Kris are on the list too. I watched the video they have of 100 guys in 60 seconds and I saw both of them there. If so that would be 4 Idol contestants this year on the list. Way to go guys.

Adam and Daughtry I totally agree are sexy. I’m excited that my two favorite Idol alum are in here. But then I seem to have a thing for musicians.
I don’t get Rob Pattinson. I just don’t find Rob sexy or even extremely attractive. He always looks like he just rolled out of bed and not in a good way.
I also agree that sexy isn’t just about looks. Sexy to me is someone who is self-confident but isn’t arrogant about it, treats others well, has a sense of humor, is creative (hence the musician attraction) to name a few things. On a shallow note I’m also a sucker for a great smile.

Rude, arrogant, egomaniacs aren’t sexy. All the rest are pretty hot though … for one reason or another. No they aren’t. Yes they are … to somebody.

I think that the picture of Adam is one of only two good ones from that Young Hollywood event. There are many, many others that are so much better. I wish I could edit Google-Image-search results so that only the good ones popped up for the writers and reporters.

This is true. I think Adam, David, and Kris are all sexy and charming. I find nothing sexy about Chris Daughtry. Now, I haven’t met Chris, so he might be charming.

I think Adam is very ‘photogenic’….a photographers’ dream client! And his gorgeous blue eyes are very sexy….he always gives his total attention to whom ever he’s speaking with those increditble eyes!
To me that’s sexy. Johnny Depp, also, has those sexy eyes. They both just have that “IT” factor to me. Yes, Adam deserved to be on this list!

Sexiest man thing… not something I typically care about. But I loved the impromptu song lyrics Daughtry threw together, Chris has a very cool self-effacing sense of humor that is often overlooked. It made me smile. So I looked over at the website and was very charmed by the fact that in his interview all he could talk about was his love for his wife and how as long as she considered him sexy that was enough to make him happy. He always comes across as such a great family guy, very grounded.

Anyway, congrats to all 4 of the Idol guys (that we know of so far) who made the list. I don’t particularly think any of them are sexy, but then again I”m not wired that way. But they are all good guys, so I’m happy for them (even if some of them are uncomfortable with the honor ) Don’t follow this sort of thing usually but I’m curious if there have ever been so many Idol alums to make the cut before? I think Cook made the list last year too, but maybe I’m confused…

I was there at the barricades in Auburn Hills too. I studied him intently, ahhh, I wanted to run my hands through his hair. It looked exceptional that night. After we got our autograph, my daughter and I followed him down the line as he signed for everyone else. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him.

Yeah, I met Adam, saw him UP CLOSE and took pics with him – he happened to have full on make-up with rhinestones and glitter at the time but I surprisingly found him VERY sexy but at the same time a sweetheart and so easy to talk to. I don’t really know why I find him so attractive, but he has IT.

yah i was also tocuhed by the thank you part of his album. its nice that he thnaked everyone who had helped him with his journey. esp making his family the first one to thank, from his parents and then neil. i thnik he really got a loving family.

Dlee- I think it’s high time Adam investigated this “bi-curiousity” of his! No doubt he will find MANY MANY women who would love to date him!!!

Okay, okay, kidding aside (although I will never give up fantasizing- NEVER!), I’m hoping that all those cruel comments are made by people Adam wouldn’t have wanted to be with to begin with, you know? And I’m sure there are many guys who do find him attractive, it’s just that maybe they’re a little less vocal about it than the ones who happily spread hate and nastiness.

I still find him kind of cute there, but sexy isn’t just facial appearance. Sexy can be a personality even a quirk and I find Adam’s personality and the way he moves very sexy. I find David Cooks mannerism sexy. Kris I think is really cute but not sexy. Daughtry, not my thing but I find his devotion to his family to be very sexy.

I would love to see him with someone unassuming and maybe someone that appears outwardly boring in comparison to him. Like a younger Anderson Cooper. I saw the episode of Oprah with Ellen and Portia. I want him to have that kind of happiness.

Yesh, 4evrmomof4, I’d have to say these are 3 perfectly excellent choices. I married a conservative, white collar man…but my actual “type” is bad-boy/rockers with sassy attitude. Only dated one. It was an unmitigated disaster! LOL…That choice in men for me is best kept relegated to fantasy. (Although I don’t fantasize about Adam, as sexy and beautiful as I think he is. I don’t “see” him with any woman – just doesn’t work in my head. But I still love to look at him and appreciate his, um, many assets. He is definitely sexy!)

And congrats to Chris Daughtry. He’s attractive and, yes, I’m one of the people that bought both his albums. Don’t love him enough to see him live, but talented and a hard-working family man. That IS sexy.

Adam’s skin doesn’t bother me in the least. It’s just his right cheek and the proper makeup (or lack thereof) minimizes it just fine. He has beautiful features, and a few acne scars can’t take that away. (Eyes, nose, lips, perfect teeth, damn – even his ears are well-shaped. He’s a photographer’s dream.)

The evidence to that is that I didn’t find Adam attractive at all before he opened his mouth to sing (remember the short interview right before he sang “Satisfaction”? I actually don’t think his skin is as bad as some say. In the one picture that the Adam-hater keeps posting here, it looks like his skin was actually broken out at that time and he looks extremely tired and stressed there. Everyone who wears make-up knows it looks better at the beginning of the day than it does at the end of the day. I think lighting makes a huge difference and sometimes it flatters him and sometimes it doesn’t. He has great features but the first thing that drew me to him was his voice, the next was the way he walked toward the camera at the very beginning of BLACK OR WHITE. I could not stop looking after that.

A poster over at IDF claims to have seen the issue. The picture of Adam is small and Daughtry got a full page. No sign of Kris or David.

I flipped through the issue yesterday morning and saw the same thing. Full page for Chris, a small picture of Adam on the same page as a bunch of other small pictures of other guys where Adam is “Sexiest Rocker” or something like that, and I didn’t see David or Kris. I didn’t post about it because I didn’t want to stir up something unnecessarily if I’d just missed the pics of David and Kris.

Wow, I completely agree with People magazine. Daughtry and Lambert were my personal favorites during their respective seasons. It’s too bad People didn’t create a special cutie patootie section to include David Archuleta. I could have had my very own American Idol trifecta!! LMAO!!

I’m late here but happy to see Chris in the issue. I watched the video and he’s such a sweetheart. I loved how he talked about falling for and proposing to Deanna. He’s very much a family man and that is sexy.
