Allison’s blue dress is gorgeous, kind of medieval-looking. She’s so pretty. I really wish she were opening for the concert I’m going to, I love her voice so much.

Great pictures! Allison looks like such a star in those pics! I don’t understand at ALL why she isn’t selling more and catching on big. Tommy (I think that’s the blonde guys name), for whatever reason, my eyes always go to his pics with adam first. He’s different, or pretty, or something…haven’t figured it out, lol. Adam….goodness…he must be REALLY healthy and physically fit. The costumes, the makeup, the energy….just amazing. If I could change just one thing in the staging of his show, it would be those short stairs. Instead of having the raw, unfinished wood, I would paint them black (but that might make him trip so maybe not) but I wish they blended in more and weren’t so obvious/in your face/front and center. I know they need those stairs, but as they are, they look kinda tacky, lol. Just tone ‘em down a bit or make them look like they go somewhere with a bit of backdrop behind them rather than an abrupt stop point at the top of them. Critique over, lol.

Allison fans, does anyone have a link to a really good recording of Allison singing Heartbreaker and Holiday? I have somehow managed to not hear concert versions of those yet, and this must be remedied immediately.

Allison is looking prettier and prettier! I love her look! And damn, but Adam looks hot. He does have some niiiiiiice legs! Is it just me or are those lace up pants getting lower and lower? Hoping for a wardrobe malfunction, hehe.

Amen to that. Those stairs will go down in history. They’ll be stored one day, right beside the mic stand from the Idol’s Tour. I have a feeling those corset crotch pants will be hung next to the stairs as well.

Well the stairs that I saw in Baltimore and Wash DC were metal (some kind of aluminum?), so they can’t really be painted too easily.

tls62, did you read the article Gold wrote after Adam sang ROF on AI? Somebody posted a link in the comment section. I didn’t want to bring it over here. It was just all kinds of wrong!!!

I didn’t ms0712, and I won’t. Everyone is allowed their opinion, and I’m the first to acknowledge Adam isn’t for everyone. This guy though is just a classless asshat. Very unprofessional.

The few times Adam has sung impromptu has usually been for pretty girls – and usually, I think, in Scandinavia. I thought it might just have been because he was being asked to sing someone else’s song. On the other impromptu occasions, if I’m recalling accurately, he sang his own material, with which I’d think he’d naturally be more comfortable doing on-the-fly.

Well my guess is it depends on how Adam’s voice is feeling as to whether or not he’ll sing anything impromptu when he’s not warmed up. It’s not good for the voice to try to sing all out with out warming up first. Even if you aren’t trying to sing full out, most singers do not sound their best without warming up first. So he may be reluctant to sing with warming up (except for the rare occasions when his voice feels ready to go) because he knows it isn’t going to sound like his usual best. His sound is a big part of his meal ticket. I wouldn’t want my vocals to get recorded in less than “ready to sing” form. Some people will understand that he was singing impromptu but others would be ewww he sounds bad…see I told you he can’t really sing.

It’s really like anything else physical…you wouldn’t ask a sprinter to show you how fast they can run if they just woke up and haven’t stretched or warmed up first. If someone is known for their amazing sprinting, no one really wants to see them jog slowly.

ETA He’s known for his big notes and amazing range. That’s what people want to hear and those notes don’t just pop out first thing in the morning, or if he’s tired or a little phlegmy with out first warming up.
