Brooke was never boring to me last season because of the emotion she infused into her performances. And some of my favorite artists are singer-songwriter types and I love jazz music as much as I like rock. For me, there is absolutely no correlation to the style of music one sings and the term boring. The correlation is in the way one sings it. And with American Idol being as much a VISUAL medium as an auditory one, it’s about the performance aspect too.

If he improved that much over just a few interviews, I think he will definitely get better as AI progresses, which should be fun to watch. I like the tone of his voice better than anyone else on AI this year. I'd love to hear what Adam sounds like at his day job, lol. Especially Adam, Allison is certainly growing on me too. Adam has no cross to bear. He isn't Jesus, that's Gokey's role in this saga. Adam is refreshing, certainly something the idol audience isn't accustomed to. I am glad that they are letting them be interviewed. We do get to know them and bond with them, maybe even like them a bit. This is the best of the new tweaks. The audience is just gonna have to deal with Danny love him or not he is one of the most entertaining contestants I've seen on this show. I can't wait for his weekly performances, and I hope that it's not cut short because someone feels that he is not mainstream enough. What are they afraid of? I really like this group.
