Listen to a new acoustic recording from Adam Lambert of his hit single “Whataya Want From Me” from his upcoming EP.

Acoustic Live!, featuring performances from Adam’s concert and radio tours is set to come out Dec. 6.

    I don’t like the cover. For me, it gives off an electronic vibe instead of an acoustic one. If that makes sense.

    I love Adam, stripped. Acoustically, that is….

    I think the cover is very striking, and can’t wait to purchase my own copy.

    Not an Adam fan by any stretch of the imagination – I tend to shy away from anyone off Idol who seems to attract the Claymate Levels of Insanity – but I have to give the guy props. He can sang! He has an incredible instrument, and he’s learned to control it. It’s pretty astounding

    You decide who to be a fan of based on other people’s reactions?? I’m surprised you’d like anybody off idol because I’ve seen levels of insanity among all fanbases, especially all the popular male contestants.

    Awww — our musical tastes, how they’re formed, and our reactions to pop culture are all different. This sounds like the early buddings of a potential new fan. If that’s the case, welcome!

    Very impressive. I think you all have covered all of the possible adjectives to describe this :). And, I’m not one to typically rave about much. But, I’ve got to hand it to Adam on this one. That’s some pretty amazing shit right there.

    This track is just absolutely gorgeous. I’m so thrilled because this has always been my absolute favorite performance of WWFM. (Yes, smeggs, it IS the German NRJ performance!!) I was so so so so hoping that this would be the performance that they’d put on the EP. It just turns me to mush inside. And the sound is just perfect. They have enhanced the sound somehow from the original youtube — enriched it and added some echoes. I could listen to Adam’s voice sing like this all day.

    Adam’s voice is so beautiful on this acoustic WWFM! I just keep wondering how much better can this man get? He has the best voice out there in todays music. The voice, the gorgeous looks, the charismatic personality, the work ethic, the ‘postive energy’, the humble and genuine nature….all come togehter to make one amazing man who was born to entertain us. And I love the album cover..stripped down Adam doing a stripped down acoustic album….brillant!

    I finally got a chance to listen to it….and Wooo Hooo this is my top two versions of WWFM. I think I like the Melbourne one better but that might be because it was the first time I heard it and really liked it.

    I am really excited to see which version of Aftermath and Soaked they choose. Since they are using Glam Nation performances these won’t be fan recorded you tube versions but professional HQ audio….omg can’t wait :)

    I am right there with you, I can’t wait to hear Aftermath and Soaked. Those two songs send shivers up my spine. His voice is so pure and crystal clear when he sings acoustically, I can’t wait. Tomorrow can’t get hear soon enough. I want my own copy to hold in my hands.

    I hope I am not wrong when I said we can purchase a cd tomorrow. I thought that we can go to AO tomorrow and order a physical copy. If I am wrong, someone please let me know.

    I always love Adam at the upright cabaret with just a piano and nothing to take away from his pure voice. To me this with Adam and Monte with his guitar is Upright Cabaret revisited. Simply the best.

    Wow, beautiful version of WWFM.

    I think this EP will do really well. I wasn’t feeling the remixes that came out awhile back, but this will be a nice addition of the stunning, raw power of his voice.

    How nice that you can compliment Adam even though you’re not a fan. :) Too often a non-fan can only find negative thoughts.

    I watch his upright cabaret performances often. Just his pure voice is amazing. It always brings tears to my eyes. There is just so much feeling.

    What is with the patriotic cover?

    Regardless, this is really how I like to hear him – HEAR him and feel him. The heavily processed stuff is okay, some great, but this is the soul of the singer, to me. Yay Adam!
