Fluff, but Adam fluff is better than the retread sexuality crap being thrown at him. He is just so freaking adorable in this and he has indeed lost the weight he gained on Idol. He looks to be the same weight as when he auditioned.

Those boots were hot! And Nancy seemed as if she was having a crush of her own.

That Nancy O’Dell is quite the little tease, isn’t she? Adam seems to possess that quality that makes most females he encounters turn into chatty and babbly girlfriends, doesn’t he? I think that the fact that Adam is so honest and unguarded brings that out in others. And of course Nancy totally has a crush on him, too!

The comment about his foot size and the one about the shorts (for Danny — LOL) were hilarious. I wouldn’t mind seeing those shorts on Adam! And I actually have heard of men wearing women’s jeans because of the way they fit (tighter, baby).

Actually, that’s not Danny, that’s a twitter-wide movement — there’s a small tool that will create a green overlay on your standard user icon to show solidarity with the demonstrators in Iran. It’s everywhere on my tlist — when you use the tool, it also automatically posts a tweet with a link to the tool asking others to use it as well.

(Er, not to defend Danny or anything, as after his Comcast chat remarks he can seriously DIAF for my part; just don’t want anyone thinking the gesture of support for Iran originated with him.)

You have to have a special pass, Ellie. Usually they are won through radio stations or because you know someone with an “in.” They are limited. Catching the Idols, at the buses is always a possibilty though.

What is with all of these idol guys this year and their plaid shirts…Allison too?

Ok, that was a really fun interview.

There are usually 2 types of meet and greets.

BEFORE THE SHOW

Usually super lame. Fans line up and the Idols sit at a long table and sign autographs (usually limited to one item). You don’t really get a chance to say much and security usually bullies and rushes you down the line.

AFTER SHOW

Awesome if you can get a pass. Usually you need an “in”. Someone to hook you up. Usually reserved for friends and family as the Idols often give them out themselves. This is more casual. No line. No tables. No security shoving you around. You can usually get more personal pictures and things signed. Give them presents and stuff. Varies depending on the venue. And the Idol don’t always show up – it’s optional for them.

And if you’re REALLY patient, hang around for hours by the buses and pray that they come out to sign autographs and take pictures. Again, some Idols come out. Some don’t.

That was a fun segment. Nancy O’Dell actually had some nice unguarded, unscripted personality coming across. It was great. And Adam, RAWR as usual. (BTW, don’t think his shoe size hasn’t crossed my mind on more than a few occasions …). Dang, my friend used to do PR for AmRagCie, too bad that’s no longer the case. It is a great store and perfect for Adam, IMO.

What is it with men and women’s jeans and women in men’s jeans? You think the designers/ manufacturers would figure this crap out by now. We need to have unisex jeans and have them with a diagram for what body type they fit.

Crazy day. I loove Amy Ryan and what she said about adam “ON HER MUST LIST: A certain American Idol finalist: “I loved Adam [Lambert] so much I couldn’t even breathe. I just loved his theatrics. I’m a Glambert” Then Marilyn Manson claiming he’s a big Adam fan. Ha.

Just got back from vacation in Ibiza (totally an Adam kind of place!) and now on Adam overload from trying to catch up, so I’m going to put some random comments here. Sorry for not going back in time to old threads

1. tour music: great that he will sing new songs, if he has to repeat another performance from the show, I vote for BTBW or BoW. He needs something to make people get up and dance!
2. RS interview: pageant and punk? This always nagged at me during the show. How could he be so authentically both? now it is a lot clearer, and it was good to at last see his outrageous side- though hardly shocking stuff. Seriously, he is like the anti-Kurt Cobain
3. Kris crush- well, we knew Adam appeals to both sexes, now we know Kris does too (Adam and Slezak will have to fight over him- just kidding!)
4. Danny Gokey (and whatever other losers will be around to harass Adam on tour) I just hope Adam can channel the emotions into his songwriting.
5. Is there a TV host or writer that Adam has not talked to (and completely charmed)? This is going on 4 weeks now of media! Incredible

Okay, having actually watched now — endless cute. I would watch a whole series of episodes of him shopping for/designing his tour outfits. “Why is everything so conservative!” <3 And I love him just saying he wears girls’ jeans.

To add to what snuffles said here, the waiting by the buses thing typically happens before the show, although sometimes after. Also, by Murphy’s law, whenever you give up on them coming out is generally ten minutes before they DO come out. *wry g* If you do it, bring sunscreen and water.

You have to remember that until recently he did not get this kind of attention from women. He was treated as an afterthought by girls in high school cause he was 240 pounds and considered the nerdy musical guy. He admits to the ugly duckling syndrome. He then went to Hollywood and lived in the gay scene. The attention from women started in the last couple of years in the bars and have led to make-out sessions. So, no he does not yet fully realize how he affects women.

Hmmm, a lot of comments posted by gay men on the blogs said they don’t find Adam attractive. I guess they don’t appreciate Adam’s beauty like we do. Come on Adam, have more drinks and try to be more than bi-curious, you will get so much more love from us.

When Nancy asks Adam if he had told Kris that he “had a crush on him” before the RS interview, Adam seems to say that he did, but I can’t quite tell what he is doing after that–when he crosses his arms while making that face saying “Yeah Kris, you’re cute” is he imitating his own face while telling Kris that he was cute, or Kris’ face upon hearing that Adam thought he was cute?

I am definitely overanalyzing that small moment, but I’m curious.

Just as “beauty is in the eye of beholder” for hetero people. I’ve got female friends who (IMO) have *terrible* taste in men, and they feel the same way about me (although ironically there is usually the odd guy that will walk by and we’ll both be “Oh Hel-LO!”, hehe.

I have two gay friends (they’re a couple – Klay and Johan – both very cute!); I’ve mentioned Adam to them, and neither of them were all that enthused. It’s fascinating–Adam mentioned in the RS interview that a lot of the gay men in LA are obsessed with seeming straight, and I’ve read several articles recently about how a lot of gay men reacted negatively to Adam because they didn’t think he was masculine enough.

I think you are right and I am so happy they are not gauges, that’s one trend I just don’t understand.

Adam’s digital album is still on the itune top 100 chart – he’s #50 this morning. He has about 8 videos with Mad World at #25

Aside from Kris’ Heartless at #41 nothing else from Season 8 is on the charts.

I would love to know Adam’s overall figures throughout the season.

I am positive that I saw a picture (early on) where he had gauges in his ears (small, but gauges!). I specifically remember thinking that they were hot. Haven’t seen them since, and don’t care…..it’s all good!

The small ones are ok but as they get bigger I can’t help wondering who’s crazy idea was this…

I do think Adam has done very well. Up until a few days ago, all 17 of his videos were still in the Top 100, including Slow Ride. His album peaked on BB at #4 and has evidently sold over 28,000. According to Wiki, Kris’s album has only sold about half that. Hoping for great debut album sales.

If I am correct, it’s when you pierce your ear and then gradually stretch the holes an fit a flat disk or oval in them. It tends to distort the shape of the earlobe. They are African in origin most of commonly associated with the Zulu tribe. They are also known as earplugs.

And it wasn’t *that* long, so it seems a shame the viewing public who is not us didn’t get to watch it. Nancy cracked me up. I had hoped she would wear those shorts!!! See how adorable he is with these female interviewers? No wonder he has an entire nation of fangirls! What is most refreshing is how unassuming he continues to be (reminds me of Cook that way). I think he is so conscious of how it was for him growing up (saying he feels sexy inside to out, which is different) that he might have fun with being a rockstar but he will never forget how hard it was get there. Don’t stop being you, Adam!!!

I hope they are not gauges. It’s an old trend and I find it very distracting. I don’t think Adam would do it because he likes change so much. Heck, he even said he may get tired of eyeliner. Once you stretch the hole, you can’t go back. I guess with surgery.

I wish they had played the part of the extended version where he talks about Kris and his wife’s relationship and how he learned from it. They only showed the crush talking part. I think it would have gave us a perspective of Adam and how he does want to find love and that love between two people is just that love. It does not matter if it is guy guy, girl girl, guy girl. Ultimately we are all entitled to love and can learn from each other about what love is….Gender and sexual orientation does not matter.

I like it better if gay people do not find him appealing. There’s no denying that his sex appeal exudes to women and he is aware of it. He might as well take advantage of his bi-curious tendencies.

Prince is really skinny and skinny is just not my type. I didn’t know he was short but I also don’t like my men too short (unless they are stocky), so maybe that is why he never measured much on my sexiness scale…

Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s fascinatingà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’Adam mentioned in the RS interview that a lot of the gay men in LA are obsessed with seeming straight, and Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve read several articles recently about how a lot of gay men reacted negatively to Adam because they didnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t think he was masculine enough.

It’s interesting (but maybe only because I can’t quite relate, since I am a straight female, lol). My two gay friends that I mentioned are an interesting mix of feminine (hello, they own a dress shop, haha) and masculine (and Johan has a 17-year-old son; not sure of the story there!). You might not know they were gay by just looking at their physical appearance, but when they’re talking about the dresses and jewellery in their store it’s pretty obvious. I don’t think they deliberately try and appear straight, they just don’t have that doll-like quality that I think some gay men have (like Brad and Drake, for example).

Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m now convinced those are earrings and not gauges in his ears as was once mentioned. They look like wider, flat studs which give a similar look to gauges but donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t distort the ears. I could be wrong but that is what it looks like in recent picks, like in RS.

Me too. I’m very positive that I’ve seen a couple close-up pics (one of them being an official AI photo) where an ear is visible, and I could see the hole. But yeah, they were small (probably no more than 8-10mm).

I have always thought Prince was hot. He is very sensual. And some of his lyrics…. love it. Adam has a sexual energy… I haven’t seen anything as sensual as Prince though.

My totally personal opinion? Scott comes across as just a wee bit arrogant, and that issomething that goes against Adam’s character. Plus, Scott just lacks the sense of humor and silliness that the rest of the crowd seems to use as a ‘bonding agent’, IIYWIM. He has also had his bro with him though the whole run, and so hasn’t has to find common ground the way the others did.

Wait, am I wrong to think that it is unlikely that this is Adam’s first single–or even necessarily on his album at all? Isn’t it unlikely that Perez could get ahold of such a thing? Aren’t they still in the phase of writing and beginning to record, and didn’t Adam say that they will record 30-50 songs and then narrow it down? And with RedOne now on board as a producer, I would expect one of those songs to be his first single–something much more in the rock/dance vein than this song.

I think I was a little excited to hear some new Adam stuff. After a few listens it sunk in that it wasn’t super memorable. I can’t imagine 19+RCA would let another record company release his old material but who knows. Definitely a Ferras track, thats for sure!

On the Ryan seacrest blog, the song was removed as requested by Sony/bmg So, it looks like they are aware of it and working on getting it gone. Gotta get used to lots of people trying to cash in, I guess.
