Lindsey Parker from Yahoo Music interviewed Aaron Kelly during a recent Idol tour rehearsal. He wouldn’t spill much about his tour song choices, but does say he’ll be “kind of sticking with my country theme.” And, unlike what he did on the show, the three tunes he’ll be singing on the tour are all upbeat.

Also, he doesn’t feel confident enough in his guitar-playing abilities to bust out an instrument on tour, but he says he’ll play when he’s on his own tour singing his own songs.

Speaking of which–Aaron is a songwriter–something Idol fans may not know about him. He’s got a songwriting session next week with Stephanie Chapman and Debby Throckmorton.
