2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards Nominees List

The iHeartRadio awards are back for a third year, now broadcasting live from the Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 3 on basic cable channels TBS, TNT and TruTV after two low-rated years on NBC. The iHeartRadio Music Awards will also simulcast live worldwide on the iHeartRadio app.

Taylor Swift leads the pack with a total of eight nominations, including album of the year, song of the year and female artist of the year, while The Weeknd is right behind the pop superstar with a total of seven nods, also for album of the year, song of the year, male artist of the year and others.

Adele, Drake, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran are close behind with a total of five nominations each. Carrie Underwood is nominated in the female artist of the year category. But no room for her in country artist of the year! All five nominees are MEN. Blake Shelton receives a nod in that category.
