2015 Emmy Awards Live Blog and Winners List

Hey gang. I’m here with an Emmy live blog, updating you on all the festivities tonight. Join me here starting at 8PMEST/5PMPST for what is sure to be a barrel of laughs with host Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, SNL). Will your favorites win? Sound off in the comments!

Below is a list of the nominees. I’ll be updating the winners list once there are winners. It’s there for your reference. :) I predicted my winners over on my site (macthemovieguy.com) in case anyone wants to know my thoughts on who’s gonna win. Gotta get that plug in, right?

Check out Last Week’s Creative Arts Emmys Winners List

We open with a sketch where Andy Samberg hasn’t watched enough TV shows. He launches into a song. He locks himself in a bunker for a year and watches every episode of every show. LOL. It’s a funny sketch. Will Forte shows up as Javert. Kerry Washington, Jon Hamm, and Nathan Fillion are among the many guests. Best opener ever? Perhaps. This is gonna be a great night. Thanks Andy.
Justin Timberlake is NOT coming?
SUCK IT BOOKS.
Andy makes a Back to the Future joke.
Andy Samberg makes a joke about category changes. Louie is now Jazz.
Jane Lynch appears as the mean nun from Game Of Thrones.
Most diverse group in Emmy history. “Racism is over (don’t fact check that).”- Andy
“Sure, Donald Trump SEEMS racist. What else?”- Andy
“Does it look like Bernie Sanders is always late for his flight?”- Andy
Is it weird that Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t hosting To Catch A Predator?
Requisite Kim Davis joke.
“And we also said goodbye to True Detective, even though its still on the air.” LOL.
Uzo Aduba is the new Ed Asner. LOL.
Allison Janney is also the new Ed Asner, and the old Uzo Aduba.

Great opening monologue. Love Andy Samberg.
