The Voice Moving to The Fall – All Coaches on Board

The Wrap is reporting that all four The Voice coaches–Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will return to the show when it debuts in the fall.

What isn’t clear in this report, is whether the show will air twice a year or not.

Tonight, the American Idol 11 Top 60-ish heads to Las Vegas for another round of singing! The kids will once again perform in groups. This time, the selections will be songs of the 50s and early 60s.

Producer, Nigel Lythgoe says it will feature the kids singing in tight harmonies. And look! They get to wear really cool costumes too.

Wednesday Ratings: Two Hour American Idol Stays Steady

American Idol had a 6.0 adults 18-49 rating and if past history is a guide, will likely be adjusted up a tenth in the final national numbers. That compares to a 6.1 adults 18-49 rating for last Wednesday’s one hour episode.

X Factor announces their open auditions. Open calls begin March 14 in Kansas City, MO and Austin TX March 14, San Francisco April 20, and Greensboro NC May 1. Online auditions begin March 1, and My Studio auditions begin March 1. See schedule below.

Also: The 5 million dollar prize is back (Ugh). The bottom age limit is still 12.

And this is interesting: Artists with Pre-existing Management Contracts Can Now Audition. Hm. Of course a hopeful has to be management and record contract free to audition for Idol.
