Dancer, Alex Wong tweeted, “WOW. OK JUST MET GAGA AND SHE GOT DOWN AND TOUCHED MY CAST AND SAID A PRAYER FOR ME. HOLY SH&$&$!:@:@!!!!!!” Alex just had surgery on his left Achilles tendon. He injured his right tendon last year. Lady Gaga will be guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance tonight.

Casey James tweets, “I have waited my whole life to be able to say this…My first single, “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night” goes to radio this week! Ahh!!! Woo!!” Brian Mansfield reports that the song goes for radio adds on August 15. HERE. I posted the news HERE.

Idol Headlines for 07/26/11 – The Evening Edition

News from Season 7 Idol alum, Michael Johns via twitter, “Hey guys just booked a show at The Viper Room September 16 at 9pm. Full band with new songs!!! I’m singing the National Anthem at the finals of the Farmers Classic Tennis at UCLA on Sunday.”

Scotty McCreery on His Album “We’re Really Moving Along”

Scotty McCreery talks to Billboard magazine about his upcoming debut album, set to be released this fall.

He tells the magazine that he’s got a good head start on the album. The team considered putting a cover on the CD, but decided to stick with all new material.

Also, a bonus tidbit inside from Windmills: She found complete writing credits on ASCAP for a tune written for Scotty
