Billboard Update (Issue Date: November 11, 2006)

• Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” tops the Country Charts this week.  She is the 100th Idol to have a Billboard #1 hit.
• Mario Vazquez’s album dropped off the chart quickly, but his single, “Gallery” continues to inch up a few charts.  “Gallery” is #8 on the Top 40 chart this week.
• Ruben Studdard’s single, “Change Me” hangs in the #2 position on the Adult R&B chart.  His album dropped from it’s debut at 8 to 35.
• Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee climb back up a notch on the Singles Sales Chart.

Kellie Pickler’s album, “Small Town Girl” will make it’s first chart appearance next week. She’s expected to sell in the 60,000-70,000 range this week-possibly more.
